General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) has been working hard on his new nightclub in preparation for opening night. Curtis decided he was tired of secrets – both the ones kept from him by Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) and the ones he was forced to expose through his job as a PI. Since Curtis needed a fresh start, he opted to buy the nightclub and reset his life.
Now Curtis is set to divorce Jordan and open The Savoy, but trouble could be brewing. General Hospital spoilers say Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will take great pleasure in riling Curtis up in the coming episodes. The fact that General Hospital writers are pitting Cyrus against Curtis again is interesting.
GH fans know Curtis left Cyrus furious when he did some snooping and found out Cyrus was keeping someone he cared about at the house on Wilson Avenue. That led to Cyrus moving his beloved mother, Florence Grey (Annie Abbott), so that facility in Vermont.
Of course, that was also where Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) had Florence snatched to score leverage. This has been a total nightmare for Cyrus and has taken his attention away from his other pursuits in Port Charles.
Cyrus may be on the verge of getting Florence back, but that doesn’t mean he’ll forget about all the drama that’s gone down. You could argue that Curtis started the chain reaction with his Wilson Avenue digging.
If Cyrus had just left Florence there, there’s a chance none of this would’ve happened. Cyrus felt he had to move Florence because of Curtis – and that led to a mountain of Florence-related problems. Cyrus could end up deciding Curtis needs to pay for setting all the chaos in motion.
If so, how might Cyrus target Curtis? We can certainly think of one way – and that’s through that shiny new nightclub of his! Curtis is tickled pink over The Savoy and can’t wait to make it a big success.
Since Curtis is so excited about his nightclub and has so much of his time and energy into it, perhaps Cyrus could make it a target.
Cyrus was more than willing to blow up The Floating Rib over a hit on Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Could Curtis’ nightclub become Cyrus’ next explosion target? It’s an option to consider since Laura Collins (Genie Francis) is so nervous about what Cyrus might have in store next.
It feels like GH writers are building to another terrible scheme, so The Savoy could easily become a danger zone. Even if Cyrus doesn’t succeed, Curtis’ nightclub could be at risk based on their history and the hints about more Port Charles mayhem hitting hard.
