General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) might regret dragging Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) into her kidnapping plot. Carly assured Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) that Florence Grey (Annie Abbott) was in the very best hands. Florence was taken to a safehouse, where Bobbie is serving as her nurse and giving her quality care.
That’s good news for Florence since Bobbie knows what she’s doing and can handle all Florence’s needs. However, it’s bad news for Bobbie since it could make her a target.
Carly insisted that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) would NEVER find this safehouse, but how can she be so sure? Where there’s a will, there’s a way – especially when somebody’s ill, elderly mother is involved.
If Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) could track down Florence at that house on Wilson Avenue, then Cyrus could hire a PI to find Carly’s safehouse. Cyrus has plenty of money and resources to use on this mission. He could actually hire a whole team of private investigators to make this happen for him.
Of course, there are other ways that Florence could be found. Cyrus might even start thinking about the possibility that Bobbie’s pitching in. Bobbie will surely get a day off eventually – and that could lead to one of Cyrus’ goons putting a tracker on her car. In that case, Bobbie might lead Cyrus right where his mother is.
Then again, it could be Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) who puts in the work and gets the job done for Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight). We know Valentin’s going to help Martin, who may offer updates to Cyrus if they uncover Florence’s new location.
The point is this safehouse may not be as private as Carly thinks – at least it may not stay that way! What’s to stop Cyrus from digging deep enough, finding out where Florence is and snatching Bobbie along with his mother? Cyrus might kidnap Carly’s mom as payback and new leverage in this mob war with Jason.
GH writers could’ve had Carly say she hired an extremely qualified nurse to care for Florence. It could’ve just been a nobody, but General Hospital chose to specify that Bobbie was taking care of Cyrus’ mother. Why? Could it be because it’s going to matter down the road?
