General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will have to shift his vision for the future. Maxie Jones (Kristen Storms) clearly wants nothing to do with Peter at this point, though she ended up trying to string Peter along just for safety’s sake.
Maxie can’t rock the boat too much or else she could be putting her own life in danger as well as the life of her unborn child.
Nevertheless, Maxie intends to do whatever it takes to make sure Baby Lou stays protected. The trouble is Peter is an awfully crafty character – and he’ll soon have a very powerful ally! After Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) approaches Peter about teaming up, Peter will give the idea some thought.
It looks like Peter will get back to Cyrus a little later and let him know he’s willing to enter this alliance. Peter won’t exactly trust Cyrus, but he’ll see the potential in having friends in high places.
Cyrus is the chairman of the board at GH, so he can make big things happen there. Peter may sense that he needs an insurance policy in case Maxie indeed tries to keep his child from him.
That’s where Cyrus could easily put a plan in motion to help. Of course, Cyrus will certainly want something from Peter in return, but Peter has no problem with committing crimes. Besides, Peter would do just about anything if it meant locking in a future with his child.
Although Peter may eventually realize there’s no hope for a future with Maxie, he should determine there’s still hope for a future with Baby Lou.
Peter may resolve to raise his daughter without judgment and allow her to embrace her full dark potential. Perhaps Peter will feel like he can’t let Lou be stifled by society and all the rules it imposes.
Peter certainly won’t want Maxie to ban him from his little girl or try to poison Lou against him once she’s older. General Hospital spoilers suggest Peter may be a desperate dad when it comes time for the baby’s birth.
Since Peter could easily plan to steal Baby Lou, Cyrus may facilitate it once this alliance is firmly in place. Cyrus will be the perfect secret weapon for Peter, so it’s a no-brainer for Cyrus to potentially pitch in with a kidnapping plot.
