General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) could strike back once he’s behind bars again, so a prison retaliation plot may be brewing. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and a long list of other enemies had better be ready for whatever Cyrus has in store.
GH fans know Cyrus was taken into custody after being shot in the leg by Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry). Naturally, Cyrus has to be crushed and furious over the way all this turned out.
Cyrus was deeply emotional at the thought of being incarcerated once more, but he’s indeed headed to a maximum-security facility now that he’s been apprehended.
However, Cyrus was still running his drug empire and ordering hits before he was released the first time around.
There’s no reason Cyrus can’t carry out revenge once he’s thrown back in prison. Cyrus isn’t returning to Pentonville, but he can rebuild his organization from just about anywhere.
Jason, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma), Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West), Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs), Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) could all be at risk.
The same goes for Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and her family, including Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) once he’s back in the picture.
Of course, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Jordan might land in danger along with those closest to them. There are plenty of people Cyrus would like to get revenge on if given the chance.
This is the perfect opportunity for Cyrus’ vindictive next chapter, so let’s hope the show takes advantage of it.
With his freedom ripped away and no real future left, Cyrus may become even nastier and more vengeful than he was before. He implied he could be dangerous with nothing left to lose, so we just might see Cyrus prove it in the months ahead.
Cyrus can still accomplish his horrible goals with the help of henchmen – and perhaps when the time is right, he can finagle a release somehow and unleash more terror himself.
There’s no limit to how low Cyrus will sink, so the people of PC don’t need to get lulled into thinking they’re safe. As other GH news pops up, we’ll deliver updates.
