General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) may target Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) after his release. Will Cyrus use an attack on Brad to destroy Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Ms. Nina Wu’s (Lydia Look) alliance?
GH fans know Cyrus had one of his men at Pentonville stab Brad, so he’s targeted him before. That was done to help Julian Jerome (William deVry), who found himself in league with Cyrus before his own demise.
Things have been calmer and quieter for Brad lately, but more trouble’s brewing.
Brad now has a parole hearing coming up and will score his release according to GH spoilers. Of course, Brad may soon find that he was safer behind bars!
Ms. Wu worried about the possibility of Brad being harmed once he was on the outside. She got Sonny’s word that he wouldn’t go after Brad – and he spoke for the rest of the Corinthos family, too.
However, there was far too much talk of Brad potentially being targeted for this to be a drama-free release. We should probably prepare for Brad to walk into a dangerous trap.
Cyrus made allies out of Vincent Novak (Glenn Taranto) and Charles Buscema (Bart Tangredi), but Ms. Wu sided with the Corinthos organization by tipping Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) off to the deadly wedding day bombshell.
That allowed Jason to get the upper hand with Damian Spinelli’s (Bradford Anderson) assistance, which resulted in Vincent and Charles getting killed by a car bomb instead.
Cyrus might think Ms. Wu’s actions warrant a good dose of revenge – and what better way to get it than by targeting her nephew?
That’s especially true since Brad managed to survive the earlier prison attack. Cyrus isn’t the kind of guy who likes to lose or leave unfinished business.
Naturally, there’s also the potential for Cyrus to frame Sonny for this new attack and stir up some problems.
If the Wu organization blames Sonny for going back on his word and making Brad his target, that could lead to serious conflict.
Bottom line, Brad seems poised to walk out of prison and into the danger zone eventually!
Port Charles may not be a safe place for Brad anytime soon. As other news and updates emerge, we’ll keep you posted.
