General Hospital Spoilers: Dante Kidnaps Franco Under Obrecht’s Orders – Hides Hostage From Jason & Peter

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) now has a second mission to juggle along with his first one. Dante’s main goal is to take down Peter August (Wes Ramsey), but Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) used her pen-clicking method to make sure Dante protects Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth), too.

Of course, Dante already stepped up to save Franco from Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) syringe. That put him in a life-threatening situation, but he’ll make a full recovery in the end. Dante will resume the missions he’s been ordered to carry out – and there’s much more Franco drama coming down the road.

Franco is a friend of Liesl’s, so she wants him safe and alive partly for that reason. However, there’s another reason since Franco has Drew Cain’s (Billy Miller) buried memories. Liesl is using manipulated Dante to protect her pal and her secret weapon.

This brings us to the news of Franco’s upcoming disappearance. Since we know Franco will pull a vanishing act, it’s obvious Franco will be kidnapped. Franco isn’t going to abandon Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and the boys of his own volition. He’ll have to be taken against his will.

When GH fans think of kidnapping, it’s easy to make a negative assumption. It sounds like a bad thing, but what if it’s actually a desperate move Liesl orders for Franco’s protection? Will Dante kidnap Franco for his own good?

Liesl may feel like too many people want Franco dead, especially after this Alexis incident. Having Dante kidnap Franco might be the only way to keep him safe.

General Hospital spoilers suggest this move would be right up Obrecht’s alley. Liesl previously kidnapped Peter, tied him up and tortured him as part of a twisted plot.

This time, it may be Franco who plays the role of Obrecht’s hostage – and she might have far less sinister motives. Liesl would be able to keep Peter, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and anyone else with a grudge far away from Franco.

Furthermore, Liesl would have a captive audience. She might use this opportunity to really get down to the business of retrieving Franco’s Drew memories. The sooner Peter’s exposed, the better off everyone will be!

As for Dante, his continued mission to protect Franco will be a failure if he’s not behind the kidnapping. Will Dante really let Franco be snatched on his watch? It makes more sense that maybe Dante himself will be the snatcher after Obrecht triggers him to do it.

Franco’s tumor will still be an issue, but Liesl has advised against radiation anyway. Whatever the case, it’s not as pressing as the immediate threats to Franco’s life. Liesl has to tackle this crisis one step at a time, so she may order the kidnapping and figure out the rest later!
