General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) may not be able to wiggle out of trouble this time. The jig is almost up for Peter, so where does that leave him? Although Peter’s often been able to slide out of jams in the past, his true downfall might finally be coming.
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will soon be forced to question if there’s really any hope for Peter. General Hospital spoilers say Anna will worry that there’s nothing redeemable left.
It’s a big deal if Anna feels that way since she’s been one of Peter’s biggest defenders along with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms).
Peter also made that ominous comment when he first looked at the wedding rings for the upcoming double nuptials. There was something about Peter’s delivery of ‘til death do us part” that made it seem like he might not survive what’s ahead.
Even if Peter escapes or gets locked up, it’s clear that he won’t be living happily ever after with Maxie. The question is: Who will? Could some other handsome guy come along to fill the void in Maxie’s heart?
It’ll have to be someone Maxie knows and truly trusts this time around. Maxie thought Peter was trustworthy, but she’ll feel differently once all Peter’s horrible secrets are exposed.
However, there’s someone currently in Maxie’s life who could step up in the aftermath of Peter’s potential exit. Whether Dante “completes the mission” or not, he might find himself on a different mission down the road – one where he could fill Maxie’s heart with joy again.
Maxie values Dante’s friendship and feels quite comfortable interacting with him. Due to their mutual connection to Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan), there’s always going to be something tying them together. Could Dante and Maxie’s friendship turn into love at some point?
It’s a possibility to consider, especially since it’d make for a soapy story once Lulu woke up from her coma. Just imagine Lulu awakening to find out the man she loves has moved on with her bestie! Does it get any soapier than that?
Although General Hospital writers are trying to make something happen between Dante and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), many GH fans just aren’t feeling it. Sam and Dante arguably don’t have the right energy in their scenes together.
Dante needs a woman with a bit more pep like Maxie to balance out his laid-back vibe.
Should GH abandon ship when it comes to Dante and Sam? Would it be better to give Maxie and Dante a try instead? Maybe Dante and Maxie could become a hot new couple in Port Charles – at least once Maxie’s heart has a chance to heal.
