General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) may face orders to murder captive Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). This could be the programmed killer’s last chance to break the deadly conditioning, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
GH fans know Jason was faced with a tough choice during his latest faceoff with Peter. As much as Jason wanted to pull that trigger and take Peter August (Wes Ramsey) out, he couldn’t risk the harm Drew might do to Britt.
Jason couldn’t shoot Drew either since that’s his own brother and Scout Cain’s (Ella Ramacieri) father.
That left Jason with no choice but to put the gun down on the November 2 episode, but now he’s a hostage along with Britt and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati).
Britt will fret over Liesl during the week of November 8-12, so she may warn Peter that Obrecht needs a hospital ASAP.
Just patching Liesl up wasn’t enough, but Peter might offer more supplies and urge Britt to take care of things herself.
Regardless, Peter may stick to his plan to have Obrecht help him condition Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) to forgive him and take him back.
Liesl is still useful to Peter, but he may not have any real reason to keep Britt and Jason alive indefinitely. Peter suggested they would all live for a little while longer, but he obviously doesn’t plan on letting Jason and Britt go unharmed.
It seems Peter just wants to resort to torture tactics and show off what Drew can do before permanently eliminating his hostages.
Britt will be expendable once Peter can arrange other medical care – or at least if he feels confident Liesl’s patched up enough to heal.
Peter may insist on killing his loudmouth sister since Britt isn’t shy about speaking her mind. He might also want to use Jason’s weakness against him.
Jason spared Drew’s life, but Peter may be eager to prove Drew won’t do the same – not while under the influence of this twisted conditioning.
General Hospital spoilers say Peter will set up a powerful display. He’ll put an alarming demonstration in motion – maybe just to taunt Britt and Jason. Peter might want to prove just how dangerous Drew is in this violent state.
From there, Peter may insist on a double murder. He might taunt Britt and Jason about going out together before calling for their immediate deaths.
Imagine Peter’s shock if Drew finally starts to fight off his conditioning!
As a strategy to break the trance, Liesl has repeatedly suggested thinking of Scout and the love Drew has for her.
This is Drew’s opportunity to remember his daughter and defeat this hold Peter has on him – at least long enough for Jason and Britt to get away.
Drew might even break the conditioning altogether and team up with Jason, but we’ll see how it all plays out! As other news rolls in, we’ll provide more updates.
