General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will have a special gift for Scout Cain (Ella Ramaceri) as Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) helps her ex with some daddy-daughter time. Drew fought hard to make it home to Scout, so she’s obviously his priority now that he’s back in town.
Of course, there’ll continue to be some challenges along the way since Scout doesn’t remember Drew. Scout was too young to really hang onto any memories, but Drew will hope to make plenty of new ones – starting with a visit that Sam arranges for him.
Drew will be tickled pink when Sam brings Scout over to the Quartermaine mansion for a little bonding session.
Scout was pleased over the unicorn figurine Drew offered when he first showed up, but she’ll no doubt remain a little wary of him when they meet back up. Scout needs a chance to get comfortable with Drew, but a fun activity might help.
It looks like Drew may get Scout in on some Christmas decorating and playfully quiz her about what she’s into these days. Drew will no doubt have a special gift under the tree for Scout this Christmas, but this time together will certainly be a gift as well.
It’s a miracle that Drew and Scout have finally found each other again, so Sam’s heart should be full as she watches them interact. Sam will do whatever she can to help Scout develop a relationship with Drew as they all move forward.
Although Sam’s committed to her relationship with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) at the moment, she could form a strong friendship with Drew as they co-parent. That could certainly set the stage for a “Dream” reunion down the road.
Drew has moved on with his life, but he carries those Sam memories with him and might want to revisit the romance at some point. If Sam eventually feels the same, there’ll be the potential for these two to get back together.
For now, Drew will keep the focus on Scout and his desire to be the best dad he can be but could co-parenting with Sam leave Dante out and lead to a ‘Dream’ reunion?
