General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Emme Rylan is NOT returning to GH as Lulu Spencer since the actress revealed her family’s moving away from LA. Rylan put up some Instagram stories to explain her living situation and what was in store for the fam.
Fans may recall that Rylan and her partner Don Money took their kids on an epic road trip after she was fired from General Hospital in 2020.
The family returned to Los Angeles earlier this year, but now they’ve decided it’s in their best interest to move once again.
Rylan assured fans she wasn’t insane with a laugh and announced that they decided to leave Los Angeles for at least a year, but she quickly added that the move could become permanent.
Luckily, they’ve still got most of their stuff packed in the garage, so it won’t be as big of a deal to move this time around.
As for the destination, Rylan told fans that Money had a job opportunity in Nashville, but they ultimately settled on St. Louis as a “good, stable place” to raise their kids.
They’re hoping that they all thrive there and are looking forward to trying something different for a while.
Emme Rylan isn’t leaving acting behind since she can still do self-tape auditions and fly into LA for new gigs.
However, the decision to live in St. Louis obviously meant Rylan won’t be able to make a full-time comeback at LA like many fans were hoping.
Lulu’s name has been coming up a lot lately, so some viewers thought it might mean Rylan’s return was in the works.
Sadly, that’s not the case based on Emme Rylan’s moving confirmation.
Lulu’s condition hasn’t improved, so all the mentions of her recently seem more about allow Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) to let go and move on with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco).
Of course, it’s wise to never say never on a soap, but Emme Rylan isn’t returning to GH anytime soon and seems more interested in getting away from the whole LA scene.
