General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, August 27, tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will order Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) hit on Peter August (Wes Ramsey) while Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) bans Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) from her mother’s wedding. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will also offer a stern warning, so here’s what viewers can expect.
Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will seem a bit on edge as she talks to someone about Jason and Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) wedding.
That someone may be Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) since Maxie will indeed talk to him on Friday – and we know Maxie tends to be rather nervous around the man who delivered her baby in the woods.
Maxie doesn’t want Austin to put it together that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) is raising her daughter, so she’ll do her best to avoid raising red flags.
Afterward, Austin will speak to Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) about the document that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) handed over.
Scott will feel like this is Austin’s ticket to ride and will hope a judge sees things his way.
However, Scott will also pick up on an intriguing vibe between Maxie and Austin.
Scott will point out that Austin seems awfully interested in Maxie and her life, so he may wonder if his interest is about following up with a sort-of patient or perhaps interest of the romantic variety.
Next, Ava Jerome (Maura West) will break Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) heart with some news regarding her latest decision. That’s presumably about Ava choosing to leave town, but Nikolas will think there’s a silver lining.
Nikolas may suggest he’s glad to know his son isn’t the monster who’s been threatening, but GH fans know Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) is indeed to blame.
Of course, Spencer didn’t ask Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) to come along and torch Ava’s car!
In Spencer’s defense, he knows this plan has gotten out of hand at this point. It’s just that Spencer’s in too deep to back out now – and Esme’s in Port Charles now to fuel Spencer’s worst impulses.
Nevertheless, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will no doubt try to put Spencer on the right path when he pays her a visit at Spring Ridge.
Spencer should stay tight-lipped about the stalker truth, but he’ll get some advice anyway.
Alexis may point out how much she’s missing her family during her prison sentence and urge Spencer to forgive his father despite the Wyndemere nightmare.
Over with Liesl, she’ll listen as Nina describes her dilemma over the phone.
Nina has a problem for Liesl to solve, but she’s willing to handle it herself if Liesl doesn’t rise to the challenge.
Once Obrecht’s brought in the loop on as much of the situation as Nina’s willing to offer, she’ll be happy to make Peter her deadly target.
Liesl will resolve to lure Peter into a fatal trap – and she’ll think St. Lucia is the perfect place for him to die!
Obrecht’s plan isn’t going to work out as well as she hopes, but she’ll be confident in it for now.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will try a plan of his own when he tells Peter that it’s probably time for him to get out of town. “Mike” can tell Nina doesn’t like Peter, so he’ll hope to send this shady “well-known author” packing.
As for Jason, he’ll approach someone to make it clear that he won’t tolerate his family being threatened.
That may involve another run-in with loudmouthed Joey Novak (Patrick Zeller) – and Jax just might witness it.
Regardless, Jax will warn Carly that their daughter is not coming within a mile of her wedding to Jason.
Since the five families are being invited, Jax won’t allow Josslyn’s presence at this giant mob gathering with danger lurking around every corner.
Naturally, Carly may argue that it’s not Jax’s call. Josslyn is an adult and can make her own decisions, so Jax really needs to stop acting like Daddy can control her every move.
