General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, December 17, teases that Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) guard dog will take over while Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) and Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) discuss their secret – or perhaps more than one! Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will also bond over a shared wish, so let’s discuss what’s in store.
Carly will struggle to contain her anger now that she’s once again caught Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) hanging around Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). There’ll be some tense moments as Carly nearly loses her cool, but Olivia will decide she’s going to handle this.
Olivia will make it clear that Nina needs to steer clear of the Corinthos clan or else, so Nina will be surprised over a threat – though Olivia will claim it’s more of a fact.
As for Sonny, he may urge Carly to be more understanding under the circumstances. Nina has been at GH trying to give Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) some extra support.
Carly will ask where things stand as far as the baby goes. She’ll wonder if it’s all over, so Sonny may tell Carly about his tough conversation with Sasha and what a hard time she’s having.
Sasha seems to grasp the situation in her head, but her heart is struggling to catch up.
In Sasha’s room at the hospital, she’ll talk to Brando about taking Liam Corbin off the ventilator. Sasha will worry it’s the wrong call, but Brando may think they both know it’s the right one deep down.
Liam could face seizures, bed sores and more if they try to prolong his life through machines, so it’s best to let him pass away.
While Brando and Sasha give each other strength, Britt will bump into Liz and agree with her on something.
Liz and Britt may think it’s a shame Liam has to die when a monster like Peter August (Wes Ramsey) always survives. Both Britt and Liz will wish Peter would just kick the bucket already!
As for Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), he’ll confide his trust issues. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will hear Curtis out and understand his frustration with deceptive Marshall. Still, Portia won’t think it’d be the end of the world if Marshall formed a bond with his family.
Portia might point out that even if Curtis can’t reconnect with his father, Marshall could bring value to TJ Ashford’s (Tajh Bellow) life.
Curtis will want to investigate Marshall thoroughly before he makes any major decisions about him, but his instincts will tell him something’s off.
Of course, Curtis is right in some ways since he’s not getting the entire story. Stella just summoned Marshall so they could get everything out in the open, so some shockers may come to light for viewers.
It’s obvious Stella knew Marshall was alive before he showed up in Port Charles. What else might Stella be hiding?
Could Stella be Curtis’ biological mother instead of his aunt? Anything is possible when you’re talking about secrets that’ve been buried for decades!
Stella will want to get a few things straight with Marshall, who’ll be a little too confident for her taste. She won’t think Marshall can predict how things will play out, so she’ll offer a warning and try to keep him in line.
There’s a lot at stake for Stella, who doesn’t want Marshall to cause secret spillage and blow the family to smithereens.
Speaking of family, there’ll be some adorable moments for Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Scout Cain (Ella Ramacieri) on Friday’s episode.
Scout will continue to warm up to her daddy as they put some ornaments on the Christmas tree.
Sam will be the reason for this bonding session, so Drew will offer his gratitude and savor some special time with Scout for the holidays.
General Hospital spoilers say there could be hope for Drew and Sam’s romance down the road, but they’ll remain friends and co-parents for now.
