General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, January 22, tease that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) will stir up more outrage for setting up Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).
Tracy will insist was just trying to protect Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) marriage, but he’ll argue that this isn’t about him. Tracy took things way too far with her scheme and blew up lives in the process.
Ned will feel terrible about Alexis being framed for the drunk-driving crash – and he’ll certainly feel horrible for lying to Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) this entire time.
“You need all the help you can get,” Tracy tells someone in Friday’s GH preview video. Perhaps Tracy will feel like Ned’s marriage is in true jeopardy now that her own “helpful” plan has failed.
As for Olivia, she’ll guess the joke is really on her. Olivia will feel like a fool since she didn’t see the cheating cover-up warning signs before now. Once Ned gets a moment alone with Olivia, he’ll beg his wife to understand that he truly regrets his one-night stand.
Ned will want another chance with Olivia, but that’s something she can’t agree to – not yet anyway.
To keep Olivia from moving out, Ned will vow to move out instead. However, he’ll make sure Olivia knows he’ll be waiting if she decides to take him back. As for Tracy, she’ll try to make a hasty exit.
Tracy will feel like she needs to make herself scarce considering everything that’s happened, but Alexis will insist Tracy isn’t going anywhere!
General Hospital spoilers say Alexis will blast Tracy for framing her for a crime she didn’t commit. She’ll really let Tracy have it, but Tracy may not be all that remorseful – at least from Alexis’ perspective.
Over with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), she’ll talk to Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) about everything she learned from Phyllis Caulfield (Juliette Jeffries) and how continuing the search is probably a lost cause.
Nina will have high praise for Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) during this conversation. She’ll tell Curtis what an honest man Jax is and how supportive he’s been through all this.
Curtis will wonder if Nina can truly let this bio daughter hunt go. Being a mom has been a dream of Nina’s for years, so Curtis wonder if Nina’s going to be satisfied without any firm answers.
After Curtis opens up about his issues with secretive Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry), Nina will admit she’s misled Jax in some ways. Deep down, Nina still wants to find her child, so Curtis might offer to help again if he can.
Meanwhile, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will try to comfort Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), but she’ll wind up causing even more distress.
Carly will reel after Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) explains how Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) came by to pester her about Avery Corinthos’ (Ava and Grace Scarola) half-heart pendant.
Carly’s reaction will let Josslyn know she might’ve made blundered big time. She’ll ask Carly if it was a mistake to give Ava the necklace, but Carly may downplay her concerns and argue that she just doesn’t like Ava coming around to mess with Joss.
After this discussion, Carly will summon Jax immediately to tell him she’s lost control of the pendant, which could click the missing daughter pieces into place for Nina if she sees it.
Carly will argue that they need a plan to get the necklace back, but Jax will think it’s too late for that. He’ll feel like it’s inevitable that the truth’s going to come out.
Since Jax won’t be willing to provide any assistance, Carly will do some brainstorming on her own. She’ll pull Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) into her plot next week, so this mission to get the necklace back will move forward.
In the meantime, Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) will have a special request for Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner). Franco will want Scott to represent him – just to handle any legal problems that might arise after his death.
Scott will also hear about Franco’s murder pact with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and learn Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) flipped out over it.
Liz’s rage will continue at the boxing gym, where she just tracked Jason down to lash out at him. “What’s your criteria to kill my husband?” Elizabeth asks Jason in Friday’s GH preview clip.
Liz will undoubtedly act like Jason will be looking for any little excuse to shoot Franco dead. Jason hates Franco with a passion, so Elizabeth won’t think this should be Jason’s call.
Jason will understand that Liz loves the guy, but he won’t make any promises when it comes to Franco and the fatal deal they made. If Jason considers Franco to be a true threat, he won’t have any qualms about pumping a bullet in him.
Jason will think that’s something Elizabeth needs to accept, but she’ll warn that Jason will answer to her if he goes against her wishes!
As other GH news becomes available, we’ll pass along the latest updates. General Hospital spoilers say some curveballs are brewing in Franco’s storyline, so stay tuned. CDL’s the place to be for sizzling General Hospital spoilers, updates and news, so pop back in soon.
