General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, January 8, tease that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will be nervous as he has dinner with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and tries to win her over. Chase will be looking for a fresh start and a chance to rebuild a trustworthy relationship. “That’s what I want for us – more than anything!” Chase says eagerly in Friday’s GH preview video.
Unfortunately, the uncertainty Willow’s feeling will be written all over her face. Although Willow still loves Chase, she’ll struggle to move beyond the past. Willow has also fallen hard for Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), so she may feel like she’s betraying her husband on some level.
Michael and Willow agreed to explore things with their exes, but Willow will be torn about all this anyway.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will put Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) in his place. Laura has assured Cyrus that although she doesn’t know where Florence Grey (Annie Abbott) is, she does think his mother is safe.
That wasn’t a good enough answer for Cyrus, so he’ll continue to blast his half-sister on Friday.
However, Laura will fire back about how Cyrus has no one to blame but himself. She may point out that Cyrus has targeted the family members of his enemies as well as his forced allies.
This is just a dose of mob battle karma! If Cyrus didn’t want his mom dragged into this mess, he shouldn’t have made a mess in the first place.
Meanwhile, Marcus Taggert (Asante Jones) will remain in lockup at the PCPD. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will visit Taggert, who’ll be sulking about Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) hating his guts for the fake death scheme. It’ll be Portia who urges Taggert to stop feeling sorry for himself on Friday.
Portia will think Taggert has earned the right to get his life back, so she’ll push him to fight for his relationship with Trina and start rebuilding some trust.
Over with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), she’ll stop Peter August (Wes Ramsey) as he bolts through the Metro Court. It seems Peter may physically run into Sam, so she’ll look at him quizzically and wonder where he’s going in such a hurry.
Peter will lash out at Sam and most likely suggest it’s none of her business. Of course, Peter will mainly just be on edge since he learned Drew Cain’s (Billy Miller) memories are coming back to Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth).
General Hospital spoilers say Peter will be a nervous wreck, so he’ll hope he can get a grip on this situation somehow – and he won’t want Sam standing in his way.
Next, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will make a painful admission to Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson). He’ll confess that he heard from the New Jersey state police, so Carly will worry about what else Michael’s going to divulge.
Based on Michael’s body language and the tone of his voice, this obviously won’t be good news. There may be proof or at least the strong presumption that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is dead. Regardless, Sasha will console Michael and strengthen her bond with him again in Friday’s episode.
As for Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry), she’ll get in touch with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and insist on meeting with him at the PCPD. Jason never says anything to the cops without his lawyer present, so Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) will accompany Jason to make sure this meeting goes smoothly.
“Cyrus Renault’s mother’s gone missing. Any thoughts?” Jordan asks in Friday’s preview clip. Jordan already assumes Jason is to blame since Cyrus told her so, but Jason may insist he’s not in the loop on missing Florence.
Whatever the case, Jason will keep covering for Carly and hope this battle doesn’t get too nasty. We’ll bring you updates as other GH details emerge. General Hospital spoilers say some surprises are in store as the mob war heats up, so stay tuned.
