General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, November 5, tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will have a deal for injured Joey Novak (Patrick Zeller) while Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) finds a surprising ally. Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will also tempt Cameron Webber (William Lipton), so here’s what viewers can look forward to.
At Kelly’s, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) will keep up her efforts to manipulate Cameron. She’ll act like Cam is a real gentleman and perhaps use that to bring up the fact that he hasn’t slept with Josslyn yet.
Later, Esme will push Josslyn’s buttons again and make her feel insecure about how slow her relationship is moving. Josslyn and Cameron deserve to go at their own speed, but Esme will leave Joss feeling pressured to move things along.
“We should do something about that,” Josslyn says seductively in Friday’s preview video. She’ll think they should plan some alone time, but it’s obvious Esme’s manipulation will be driving Josslyn’s actions here.
At the gallery, Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) will angrily ask who Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) thinks he’s fooling.
Trina already warned Spencer that he’d have to change his actions and stop with all the empty promises. It seems that didn’t sink in for Spencer, so Trina will offer yet another reminder.
General Hospital spoilers say Trina will influence some of Spencer’s upcoming choices – and Esme isn’t going to like that once she gets updates.
In the meantime, Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will insist it’s a matter of when, not if.
Ava will feel confident something’s going to happen, so she might express her hope that better days are ahead with Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) – ones that bring a little less drama!
At Spring Ridge, Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) will insist he’s going to do the right thing. He just told Nikolas he’d take the money he was offering with another zero tacked on the end.
Shawn intends to put it to good use, so he’ll reveal his plan to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and express hope for the future.
Perhaps Shawn will once again urge Alexis to take the pardon and embrace a fresh start, too. At GH, Carly and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will find common ground.
Liz will understand Carly’s outrage over Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) actions and will suggest she’d feel the same in Carly’s shoes.
“Nothing could stop me from destroying the person who came between me and my family,” Liz admits to Carly in Friday’s preview video. Carly should be surprised over Liz’s support, but she’ll no doubt welcome it.
Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) will also sound the alarm later, so that’ll mean delivering some sort of warning.
This probably involves another call from Jeff Webber (last played by Richard Dean Anderson), so Liz will once again mull over her complicated relationship with her father.
As for Sonny, it looks like he may pay injured Joey a visit in the ICU. Joey nearly died following a brutal assault, but Sonny still won’t go easy on him.
Sonny will make it clear that he won’t tolerate any threats to his family. There’ll be no coming back from that in Sonny’s eyes, so he’ll hope they understand each other.
Sonny will hope to strike a deal, but it seems like he needs to worry less about Joey now and more about who might step up in his place.
General Hospital spoilers say Sonny has more mob problems ahead of him, so don’t miss what’s in store.
