General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, October 1, tease that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will be forced to confess while Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) apologizes to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will also face her next Nixon Falls blow, so here’s what viewers can look forward to.
For starters, it looks like Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) will catch up with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and acknowledge that he’s glad to be on good terms these days. However, Brook Lynn will smirk and suggest Ned may not feel that way once she’s through with him!
Brook Lynn isn’t shy about poking her nose where it doesn’t belong, so she’ll want to know what Ned and Olivia Quartermaine’s (Lisa LoCicero) deal is. Things seemed to be going well in their efforts to rebuild their marriage, so Brook Lynn won’t get why there’s so much tension between Olivia and Ned now.
Ned may admit this is about Leo Falconeri (Easton Rocket Sweda) and a disagreement over Austin Gatlin Holt’s (Roger Howarth) specialist suggestion. As a result, Brook Lynn could start to see a more caring side of Austin and start to trust him a bit more.
Next, Maxie will apologize to Nina for ratting her out to Carly. Nina may wish Maxie had let her come clean on her own, but part of her may be grateful she was able to avoid that initial confession.
Maxie ripped the bandage off for Nina, so at least there’s that! Besides, Nina can’t afford to hold grudges since she could really use Maxie’s friendship right now. As they discuss the Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) situation, Maxie will wonder why Sonny didn’t just confess to Carly himself.
Of course, that’s undoubtedly because Sonny and Nina fell hard for each other in Nixon Falls. Nina’s been claiming Sonny was happy as “Mike” in Nixon Falls, but Carly doesn’t realize they were in love and wanted a future together.
It seems Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) will confess that part to Carly and leave her fuming all over again, but Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will intervene. She’ll think it’s better to have everything out in the open and will hope her parents can find some path to peace.
Sonny will have to meet back up with Carly and explain his amnesiac love story eventually, but he’ll be focused on Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) for now. Nikolas will think Sonny needs to leave, but Sonny will refuse to go anywhere until they reach an understanding.
The only reason this confrontation is even happening is because Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) lied to Sonny about Nikolas making plans to flee with Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola). Nikolas will deny that and try to act like Sonny’s got it all wrong, but Sonny will struggle to believe that.
Meanwhile, Spencer will wonder if something’s going on. “You tell me,” Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) insists as she shows Spencer her phone in Friday’s preview video. Cameron Webber (William Lipton) will also be on hand as Trina presumably shows off a video from Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) – the one she recorded of Esme and Sonny at GH.
Spencer will quickly realize Esme is responsible for the mess happening inside Wyndemere, so he’ll do whatever he can to settle things down. GH fans can expect guilty Spencer to finally confess he was behind Ava’s stalker drama, so Nikolas is in for a shock.
At Spring Ridge, Ava will continue to deliver a vengeful warning to Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) and will have a warning for someone else as well. The second one might involve some words of caution for Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) since she works with Ryan daily and needs to stay on guard!
Finally, Austin will meet with Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) to discuss Edward Quartermaine’s (John Ingle) will and the possibility of getting Austin what he’s owed. Scott will mention a new challenge that lies ahead and will suggest Austin should expect the unexpected.
