General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, October 22, teases that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will get some big news in Greece while Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) blasts Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) back in Port Charles. Robert Scorpio’s (Tristan Rogers) plan will also be thwarted, so here’s what viewers can look forward to.
On the island of Crete, Britt and Jason will try to follow Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) trail.
Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will have an uncomfortable encounter with Jason and Britt upon their arrival, but it’ll lead to positive updates.
Jason will talk about Britt getting the best possible news she could get. Since Peter August (Wes Ramsey) kidnapped Liesl instead of just killing her, Jason may insist she’ll remain safe.
Peter finds Obrecht useful and will keep her alive as long as that continues to be true.
While Britt and Jason look for clues about where Peter might’ve taken Liesl, Dante and Sam will catch a flight back to PC. It should be tough for Sam to just give up on the hunt for Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), but he’s presumed dead.
Despite Dante’s pep talk, Sam may fear Drew’s gone for good this time.
Of course, Drew is actually under Peter’s control thanks to that second layer of conditioning, but there’s hope for him to perhaps beat the brainwashing and turn the tables down the road.
In the meantime, Cameron Webber (William Lipton) will play peacemaker when it comes to Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl).
Esme, Josslyn and Cameron will all be at the courthouse for Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Chavez) arraignment.
Cam will try to help Josslyn find some common ground with Esme and may argue that they all want Spencer to walk free. Even so, Joss doesn’t trust Esme and that’s probably never going to change.
Next, Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) will find Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and let him know where Laura Collins (Genie Francis) stands on Spencer’s case. Laura will have very specific instructions on how she wants all this handled.
As the mayor, Laura could have some sway when it comes to Spencer’s fate. One way or another, Spencer could be released since we know he’ll be gearing up for a new job at Kelly’s in the week ahead.
Across town, Willow will unload her frustration on Michael.
Willow will feel like their recent conversation about Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) was pointless since Michael moved forward with a vengeful plot anyway.
It seems Willow will hear about Michael bargaining with the Pennsylvania Attorney General candidate.
Michael’s goal is to slap Nina with criminal charges, but Willow won’t feel like this is what’s best for Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Caleb and Kyler Ends).
After Michael defends his actions, Willow will think he’s trying to convince himself he made the right call. She won’t like this crooked, bitter side of Michael, but he won’t think it’s fair for Nina to just get off scot-free.
Michael may argue that a conviction would make it harder for Nina to see her grandson, but Willow still won’t approve of this shady strategy.
Speaking of shady strategies, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) will use one of his own during an interrogation with Robert.
Although Victor will claim to be impressed by Robert’s push for answers, he won’t tell the WSB everything they want to know.
Victor will think he’s sitting on a goldmine of information, but he’ll only be willing to talk if he gets immunity. He’ll work hard to make sure he’s a free man soon enough.
Other General Hospital spoilers say some propositions will be made – including one presented to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
Anna already said she’d hold Victor responsible if Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) died, so she won’t like the idea of Victor scoring his freedom.
Nevertheless, Anna may have to go along with Victor’s immunity proposition if that’s the one spoilers are referring to.
Victor will have important intel that could help the WSB, so he’ll hold that info hostage until his release is guaranteed.
Valentin will thankfully survive, but his doctor will reveal that he’s going to need a second surgery at a better equipped facility.
That means Valentin will be flown back to GH in the coming episodes.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has granted Ava Jerome Cassadine’s (Maura West) wish of spending more time with Avery Corinthos (Ava and Scarola), so he’ll hope he’s buttered her up for his next offer.
General Hospital spoilers say Sonny will want to purchase Charlie’s Pub, so Ava will give it some serious thought.
Nina will come up with a solution to a problem, so she may be on the same page as Sonny. It sounds like both Sonny and Nina will think Charlie’s Pub could be a good replacement bar for The Tan-O.
Running the place would offer Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) a way forward in Port Charles, so Nina and Sonny may have a reason to join forces.
