General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, October 29, tease that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will panic over Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) while Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) learns the Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) hit truth. Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will also reunite, so let’s discuss what’s next.
For starters, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will seem annoyed on the phone as she suggests she knows exactly where to find someone. This should involve Gladys running amok now that she has leverage.
Gladys feels like she can do whatever she wants since she knows Brook Lynn’s secret. However, Gladys will manage to cause drama with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) thanks to her over-the-top moves.
At the Metro Court, Gladys will be in a robe as she shouts that she was telling the truth. Perhaps Gladys will act like Brook Lynn’s fine with her charging a spa day and whatever else she wants.
That’s not exactly the case since Brook Lynn doesn’t approve. Even so, it’s not exactly a lie either since BLQ would rather pay than have Gladys spill!
In the meantime, Maxie will be encouraged to know her worth. “Am I the only one who thinks you deserve better?” Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) asks in Friday’s preview video.
Austin might think Maxie needs better friends than Brook Lynn now that she’s shown her true colors. He might also ask Maxie on a date – a real one instead of just attending a wedding together or hanging out at Kelly’s.
Maybe Austin will insist Maxie deserves to get past what happened with Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and be with someone who truly values her. Regardless, Maxie will soon have to turn her attention to the Gladys crisis.
Maxie will join Sasha as they rip into Gladys for crossing the line. Neither one of them will understand why Gladys’ behavior is suddenly so out of control.
However, Brook Lynn will ultimately clear that up for Maxie, who’ll no doubt panic over the possibility of the truth being exposed.
Brook Lynn may point out that Gladys doesn’t know Maxie’s part of this secret at all.
Gladys only knows “Bailey Quartermaine” (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) isn’t Valentin’s daughter, but Maxie will still worry Gladys could set off a terrible chain reaction if she blabs.
At GH, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will take care of Valentin in the ICU. Charlotte will get a chance to visit Valentin, who’ll feel like the luckiest man in the world since he gets to be her papa.
Over with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), he’ll open up to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) about some of his deep regrets.
Finn may second-guess plenty of Peter-related decisions and wish the villain could be taken down once and for all.
“That day will come; I promise you,” Anna insists in Friday’s preview clip. She’ll be determined to make sure Peter’s reign of terror comes to an end.
As for Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West), she’ll wonder what Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) is hiding. Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) will also pay Spencer another visit, so this will be part of Shawn’s plan to get Nikolas to tell the truth.
One way or another, Spencer’s going to hear some shocking news on Friday’s episode. He’ll find out Nikolas was behind the hit on Hayden, so that’ll leave him ready to explode at his father.
