General Hospital Spoilers: Friday, October 29 Recap – Nikolas’ Secret Victor Alliance – Gladys Takes Intel to Valentin

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Friday, October 29, reveals that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) confessed a secret Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) alliance while Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) took intel to Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) ICU room. Here’s how all Friday’s excitement went down.

At the Metro Court, Gladys ordered something at the bar while wearing a robe for her spa day. Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) all marched over to confront Gladys since she was supposed to be working.

Gladys argued that Brook Lynn was on board with this spa day, so she insisted she was going to charge it on the company card as planned.

Maxie wanted Gladys back at her desk and stormed out after getting a message about meeting Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).

When Gladys lost her cool and blurted out something about the fraud needing a paternity test, Sasha assumed Gladys meant her. She insisted Brando was her baby’s father – and Brando backed Sasha up.

Gladys realized she’d almost spilled, so she covered by acting like she was stressed and that’s why she needed the spa day!

Once Brando was alone with Sasha, he suggested he would understand if she fired Gladys. Sasha cut Gladys some slack since she’d been through a lot and couldn’t understand why Brook Lynn would give her a spa day.

At Kelly’s, Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) cornered Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) and suggested that if there was anyone Nikolas would come clean to, it was his son.

Spencer wondered what Shawn was talking about and soon learned that Shawn believed Nikolas ordered the hit on Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig).

Shawn didn’t have proof, so he thought Spencer could pry a confession out of Nikolas. Spencer didn’t want his father to go to prison, but Shawn pointed out Spencer could be headed there when Nikolas had done far worse.

After Shawn urged Spencer to trust his instincts, Spencer left work abruptly and went on the hunt for Nikolas. Shawn made a phone call to make sure Spencer was followed.

At GH, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) regretted that he hadn’t finished Peter August (Wes Ramsey) off. Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) didn’t since she didn’t want that on Finn’s conscience. She was glad for Finn and Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) sake that Peter had escaped alive.

Anna knew Peter was getting desperate and would trip up. When Finn worried about Peter telling what happened in the stairwell, Anna joked that the cops would probably throw Finn a parade.

Afterward, Finn apologized to Liz for Violet Finn’s (Jophielle Love) questions about Jeff Webber as well as his own inquisitiveness. He didn’t mean to overstep, but Liz brushed it off and pretended she didn’t know where the photo disappeared to when Finn asked.

In Valentin’s ICU room, Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) paid him a visit to announce he was done with the Quartermaines due to Brook Lynn’s scheming. Brook Lynn entered with Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) and insisted that worked for her.

Valentin shared a moment alone with Charlotte, who talked about Brook Lynn playing videogames and watching movies with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) all the time. After Valentin said Chase was Brook Lynn’s friend, Charlotte wondered if Valentin had friends, too.

Valentin had a flashback of kissing Anna in Greece, but he simply told Charlotte that he had her and “Bailey Quartermaine” (Harper and Scarlett Bloom). He thought that made him the luckiest man in the world.

When Gladys bumped into Austin at GH, he commented on the huge teddy bear she’d brought for Valentin. Austin gave Gladys the room number even though he wasn’t supposed to and seemed pleased to hear about the Quartermaine intel she had.

Next, Austin talked to Maxie about her questionable taste in men like Peter and friends like Brook Lynn. He suggested he couldn’t be the only one who thought Maxie deserved better.

Austin alluded to his ongoing war with Brook Lynn before she walked over. Brook Lynn then learned that Gladys was there at the hospital looking for Valentin.

In Valentin’s room, Gladys assured Yuri that she knew Valentin and was eventually allowed to pass. She hinted about repaying Valentin’s previous kindness and griped about Brook Lynn treating her like an indentured servant.

Back with Anna, she spoke to Nikolas and Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) about Victor being alive. Anna talked about Victor’s alliance with Peter and seemed suspicious of Nikolas, so Ava wondered what he was hiding once they were alone.

Nikolas admitted that Victor found him and nursed him back to health when he was presumed dead. In return, Nikolas gave Victor a home base and they kept each other’s secrets.

After Nikolas assured Ava that he had no clue about the Peter part, she was still concerned. Ava pointed out that betrayal most often comes from those closest to us.

When Ava reconvened with Anna, she seemed unsettled as Anna suggested happily ever after wasn’t possible with a Cassadine. Meanwhile, fuming Spencer found Nikolas on the pier and wanted to talk about Hayden.

General Hospital spoilers say things are about to get headed between Nikolas and Spencer, so don’t miss the conflict ahead.
