General Hospital Spoilers: Friday, September 24 – Sonny’s Cemetery Outburst – Carly & Jason’s Bittersweet Goodbye

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, September 24, tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will have a cemetery outburst while Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) share a bittersweet goodbye. Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) will also get some bad news, so here’s what GH fans can expect.

At Charlie’s Pub, Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) will share her plan to bring Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) down.

Trina will think Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) should play a role in this, but Cameron Webber (William Lipton) will argue that involving Trina’s mom is a bad idea.

While Cameron suggests handling things themselves, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will continue his efforts to bond with Spencer.

Nikolas will hope Esme is finding Wyndemere comfortable, but Spencer will insist that Esme is comfortable wherever she goes.

Spencer will like Esme’s easier to please that she seems, but Esme already admitted she’s high maintenance!

Of course, Spencer is pretty high maintenance as well, so he doesn’t care about Esme’s ridiculous nitpicking and spoiled behavior.

As for Nikolas, he’ll just be glad things are on the right track in his relationship with Spencer.

We’ll eventually see Spencer change his mind about something, so he might waver on the whole stalker situation. Esme may have to remind Spencer of what’s at stake to keep him from coming clean.

At the boxing gym, Esme will run into Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and stop her from leaving.

Josslyn will wonder why Esme’s standing in her way, but Esme will likely offer an apology for any tension that’s gone down. She’ll shift her strategy and try to befriend Josslyn, but there’s no chance of that working on Carly’s wise-beyond-her-years daughter!

Next, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will have some important updates for Scott.

After Maxie shares some of the details she learned from Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), Scott will wonder what this has to do with Liesl.

Maxie will fear the worst, so she may worry that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and his accomplice made sure Liesl was a goner.

Regardless, Maxie will remain concerned about the possibility that Peter will ultimately make his way back to Port Charles and go after “Bailey Quartermaine” aka Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom).

In captivity, Liesl will deliver a warning to Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy).

“I will hold you responsible,” Obrecht declares in Friday’s preview video. Liesl may make it crystal clear that no one she cares about is to be harmed or else!

However, Liesl might also distract Victor long enough to make an escape attempt – only to get caught and make matters worse for herself.

We know Liesl will find herself at a disadvantage once Monday rolls around, so Friday’s cliffhanger could involve a getaway that’ll fail and lead to her upcoming transfer.

At home, Carly will admit she keeps wondering what happens next.

Jason may argue that it’s already happening and urge Carly to just enjoy her reunion with Sonny.

Even so, it’ll feel like a bittersweet farewell to what might’ve been for Jason and Carly. They won’t shut their feelings off anytime soon, but Carly and Jason will do their best to ignore them.

In the cemetery, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will apologize for her deception and try to help Sonny understand her perspective.

“Don’t you think I’ll ever forget that!” Sonny shouts in Friday’s preview clip. Nina definitely won’t get any sympathy or understanding from Sonny – not yet anyway.

Naturally, there’s a thin line between love and hate, so we’ll see how Sonny feels about Nina once the dust settles.

General Hospital spoilers say some shockers and shakeups are looming, so stay tuned.
