General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, September 3, teases that Joey Novak (Patrick Zeller) will ruin Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) bachelor party – and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will have a close call. Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will also cry to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in Nixon Falls, so here’s what GH has in store.
At The Savoy, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will get uncomfortable when Sam comes strutting in with information on the Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) case. Sam will want to discuss the investigation, but she’ll get the feeling that Curtis is trying to get rid of her.
That’ll puzzle Sam since Curtis normally doesn’t have a problem with her popping in his nightclub whenever she likes.
In the end, Curtis will likely admit Jason’s bachelor party is happening there tonight. He may suggest he was just trying to spare Sam the awkwardness and heartache of an encounter with her ex.
Of course, Sam may act like Curtis is making this a big deal for no reason. Sam isn’t made of glass and won’t shatter just because Jason’s having a pre-wedding celebration with a couple buddies.
Perhaps Sam will argue that she wishes Jason the best and push Curtis to concentrate on what really matters, which is bringing Drew home!
In the meantime, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) will throw back some beers with Jason before he ties the knot.
Jason will hope for a low-key evening where he can relax, but that won’t be possible once Joey struts in and runs his mouth.
Joey will mention that he’s leaving the country, so he thought he’d better offer his congratulatory toast now. When Joey gushes over Jason’s gorgeous bride-to-be, Michael will start to seethe. He’ll feel like his mother’s being threatened and won’t like it one bit.
Jason will push Michael to sit down and let him handle this – outside with his fists if that’s the game Joey wants to play. However, Jason will indeed fret over the wedding and the possibility for worse trouble.
Although Jason has beefed up security, it’s wise to stay on guard when multiple mob families are coming to the event.
Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) plans to destroy the Corinthos organization by using this grand event as a takeover opportunity, but Jason may just have a bad feeling for now.
Meanwhile, it appears Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will want Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) to have a little bachelorette bash of her own.
After Olivia gushes to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) about a mind-blowing surprise, she might reach out to Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) to help coordinate it. Maxie is in charge of planning this wedding, so she’ll surely want to be involved in this pre-wedding tradition as well.
Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) will pop up in time for this shindig – and there should be some other guests that are rounded up as well.
This will be a surprise party that makes Carly feel like a genuine bride, so it’ll sink in that the nuptials are really happening.
As for Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor), he’ll get fed up with somebody on Friday’s episode. Brando will invite someone to just arrest him instead of doing whatever it is that’s bothering him. Perhaps there’ll be some trouble in paradise if Sasha interrogates Brando about his side gigs again and questions what he’s doing for Carly.
Brando might object to the lack of trust and wonder if their relationship can really work when Sasha doubts him.
Sasha will face a shocker, so she may be taken aback by Brando’s attitude or some other obstacle that lands in her path.
At Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) gallery, she’ll push Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) to back off and leave Nina alone. Ava will probably assume Jax wants to reunite with Nina and suspect that’s why he’s so curious about her new man.
Ava will push Jax to stop pestering her for details, but he’ll stand his ground and announce that he’s not leaving without the answers he came for.
Ava may reluctantly share that Nina’s fallen for some mysterious bartender named “Mike.” She might add that Nina has been adamant about keeping her new relationship far away from Port Charles.
Nina doesn’t think she has a future with “Mike” in Port Charles, so Jax should learn some things that unsettle him.
The more Jax hears, the more certain he may be that Nina’s hiding Sonny’s survival. Sonny is indeed alive and well at The Tan-O, where he’ll share an intense moment with Nina as the week winds down.
Nina will be in tears as Sonny wonders about the conclusions she’s drawn. Sonny won’t want Nina to give up on their romance, but she’ll struggle to see how this can ever work beyond the fun they’ve had so far.
General Hospital spoilers say Nina’s life in PC is about to collide with her new one whether she likes it or not – and that’s all thanks to Jax’s curiosity and determination.
