General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that a new Christmas preview features a first look at Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) return, talk of Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) revenge and concerns about Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) the Grinch! Let’s look at some great stuff that was spilled in a special On the Red Carpet video for ABC.
For starters, the clip featured some behind-the-scenes prep work for the holidays – like a fresh dusting of fake snow. There were also some elf costumes on multiple cast members, so the show’s gearing up for Christmas and getting in the holiday spirit.
Genie Francis gave a little interview and acknowledged this was the perfect time to make a comeback – and her return is indeed just around the corner.
There was a special teaser of a scene where Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) suggests maybe the threat against them has been eliminated. Laura responds with skepticism since Cyrus is the kind of guy who’ll never stop trying to get revenge!
The good news is Laura and Martin will be granted freedom from the safe house. The bad news is Laura’s right to worry about Cyrus’ vengeful determination. Cyrus has eyes and ears everywhere, so the threat may not be gone for good – even if it seems gone initially.
GH spoilers hint at more Cyrus trouble, but there’ll also be plenty of Victor trouble, too. Laura won’t be happy to learn Victor is alive, was working with Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and has been granted immunity.
Laura won’t be pleased when she’s out for a stroll with Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) and bumps into Victor either!
Victor will be standing with Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) when Laura and Kevin stumble upon them.
It seems Victor will be like the Grinch who steals Christmas – or at least Laura’s Christmas joy! She’ll be glad to finally be home, but she’ll have to worry about what Victor still has up his sleeve and how Nikolas is tangled up in it.
Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla), Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), Cameron Webber (William Lipton), Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) also have some fun holiday scenes on the way, so viewers will be treated to some great episodes as Christmas approaches.
