General Hospital Spoilers: GH February Sweeps Preview – Big Reveals, Fierce Attacks, Total Tragedies and Romantic Shakeups

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that February sweeps is almost upon us – and that means it’s time for a great preview of the action. There’ll be more updates to pass along as new details come in, but we’ll get you started with some initial scandals and shockers. Here’s what you can look forward to in the month ahead.

For starters, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will continue her “life goes on” approach to dealing with her recent breakup. Sam will do her best to keep moving on from Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) by focusing on family, friendships and work. Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will finally get her life together – and Sam will be a huge reason why.

Look for Sam and Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) friendship to grow stronger in the weeks ahead. Will that friendship ever lead to more? Time will tell, but Sam will just view Dante as a pal for now.

Sam will keep putting her investigative skills to good use and will remain involved in Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) storyline with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst). That could thrust Sam back into Jason’s orbit if she fears he might take deadly action.

As for Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), we’ll see their sibling war rev up again. The hospital will be at the center of it since Cyrus will carry out some twisted plans that Laura doesn’t agree with.

Jason and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will work through on a new tactic that could mess up those plans, but you can bet Cyrus won’t be happy if they succeed! General Hospital spoilers say Cyrus’ patience will start to run out, but he’ll have a trick or two up his sleeve when it comes to targeting the Corinthos clan.

February sweeps will also bring a difficult farewell for Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) family. After Sonny is officially declared dead, Carly and her loved ones will gather for a memorial service. None of them will realize Sonny is living as “Mike” and trying to put the puzzle of his past together.

Sonny will face some struggles as he works to uncover who he really is and who might be missing him. Meanwhile, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will remain fixated on her long-lost daughter – and there’s a good reason for that.

GH will start putting all the pieces in place for the big reveal – the stunning moment when Nina realizes who owned the other half of her necklace.

That half-heart pendant will cause more problems, but it does look like Nina will learn the shocking truth for February sweeps. Once Nina realizes Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) was her biological child, it’ll bring devastation – and outrage that Carly hid the truth along with Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher).

There’s also some double wedding drama coming up, so be prepared for extreme danger. General Hospital spoilers say shots will be fired at this epic event – and there’s a good chance they’ll come courtesy of Dante trying to complete his mission.

What was supposed to be a blissful event will turn into a total tragedy.

Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), Peter August (Wes Ramsey), Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will all be affected. Rumblings persist about Maxie and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) becoming unintended victims at the ceremony, so stay tuned.

The answers Anna receives about Peter will turn her world upside down, so it sounds like Anna’s eyes just might be opened to Peter’s true nature. We should also talk about some fractured couples that’ll face tough decisions.

Will Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) be able to get past Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) betrayal?

That’s something Olivia will have to mull over. The same goes for Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), who’ll have to decide if he can live with Jordan Ashford’s (Briana Nicole Henry) pattern of secret-keeping.

Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will look to the future with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), but will the growing danger for Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) pull Sasha in Brando’s direction instead?

Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) will support Sasha’s efforts to reunite with Michael, but we’ll see how things go on Willow and Chase’s end.

There’ll be some Valentine’s Day scenes for Willow and Chase as well as scenes for Michael and Sasha. Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will also celebrate this day of love like only they can!

Other General Hospital spoilers say Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) will work hard to win back Trina Robinson’s (Sydney Mikayla) trust, but it won’t be easy.

Trina will also be part of the teen drama, so there could be some conflict with her bestie, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). It looks like Joss will find out Dev Cerci’s (Ashton Arbab) forged journal entry before long.

That should cause some issues now that Cameron Webber (William Lipton) is keeping secrets with Trina. This is the kind of thing that could leave Josslyn quite upset about being left out of the loop, so we’ll see some teen drama..

As for Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), he’ll seek the real story from Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) and get to the bottom of who Chase really is to him.

Is Chase just Finn’s brother like he’s always tried to believe or is Chase his son? Finn should get some answers during February sweeps, so keep watching.

We’ll bring you up to speed as other GH news pops up. General Hospital spoilers say February sweeps will set the stage for several bombs to drop, so don’t miss all the action. CDL will have all the fantastic General Hospital spoilers, news and updates you need, so pop by frequently.
