General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that February sweeps will bring some long-awaited big reveals and jaw-dropping moments. Some major storylines will come to a head and leave fans on the edge of their seats in the month ahead. Here’s a preview update of all the February sweeps drama.
First, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will make waves in some surprising new ways. As Cyrus’ desperation grows, he’ll kick his fight to bring his mom home up a notch. Cyrus will plan to get Florence Grey (Annie Abbott) back no matter the cost!
Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will keep working against Cyrus, but another character will target him and complicate the situation. Could that character be Peter August (Wes Ramsey)? Jason will pretend he’s on the same side with Peter against Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) – and in some ways, he will be.
However, this is one case where the enemy of Jason’s enemy is not his friend! Peter may use Jason and Franco’s deadly deal against Jason by manipulating the situation.
In the meantime, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will have a common goal. They’ll both be trying to bring Peter down, but Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) role in all this will make a mess.
As for Franco and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), their family will face even more hurdles. Once Franco’s health crisis worsens, he’ll lean on Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) to avoid worrying Liz any further. Franco will eventually go missing, so the “Friz” family will add kidnapping to their list of concerns.
Meanwhile, Cameron Webber’s (William Lipton) life will be turned upside down by some shocker that could completely derail his Stanford plans and change the course of his life forever.
GH fans will see Cam develop a bit of an edge due to the drama that’s coming. Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) could find themselves as odds as a result of how they handle this.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will dig into the mystery of his true identity. Once a state trooper returns Mike to Lenny Caulfield’s (Rif Hutton) bar, Sonny will be forced to get help if he intends to stay there.
That’ll settle Sonny’s bipolar situation, but he’ll still have to figure out who he really is and how he might go about getting home.
Back in Port Charles, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and the rest of the Corinthos clan will gather to remember the man they loved. Sonny will get a memorial service that’s far from a peaceful sendoff!
General Hospital spoilers hint that consequences are coming for Carly – and vengeful Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) may be the one to deliver them.
Nina will soon find out dead Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) was her biological daughter. Once it all clicks into place, Nina should point the finger at Carly for shoving Nelle off that cliff. That’s not how it went down, but Nina’s probably going to think so anyway.
The pieces are in place for Nina to cause quite an uproar at Sonny’s funeral, so we’ll see how it goes. Regardless, Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) will pay for lying to Nina repeatedly about what she cares about most. A public downfall is brewing for Jax, who’ll certainly lose Nina and battle regrets.
General Hospital spoilers say Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will focus on their future. After Nikolas pops the question, it looks like he’ll plan another wedding ceremony with Ava – a real one to celebrate their very real marriage.
Unfortunately, not everyone will be supportive of that plan!
Speaking of wedding ceremonies, we can’t forget about the double nuptials that are coming up. Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) is set to marry Peter and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is set to marry Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), but neither wedding will go off without a hitch.
General Hospital spoilers say the fallout will have a huge impact on Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison, Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). It certainly sounds like it’ll be revealed that Finn is Chase’s father – or at least Chase will learn of the possibility.
Maxie will also start to battle doubts about Peter’s true nature based on the exposures that are coming up. It’ll become harder and harder for Maxie to continue to have faith in Peter.
Look for a wedding crasher to cause some chaos, so Alex Devane-Marick (Finola Hughes) might be a good option. Will Alex return from the dead and reveal that she’s Peter’s actual mother?
As for Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor), he’ll be pulled into danger even further as Cyrus’ demands rev up. Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) will also revisit their commitment ceremony idea, so we’ll see if they finally move forward with it.
In the meantime, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) bond will continue to grow. There’ll also be a breaking point for Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) that finally convinces her to sober up and take charge of her life. Even so, the damage Alexis does could have lasting effects.
Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will need to make a decision about whether she’s going to take Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) back or file for divorce. While Olivia makes up her mind, more storms will roll in for the Quartermaine clan. It sounds like the Qs will be in true crisis mode!
Chase and Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) attempt to reunite won’t be all that simple – and neither will Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) efforts to recapture what they’ve lost.
Trouble is also on the horizon for Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) since he’ll find out Lucas Jones (Matt Trudeau) and Felix DuBois (Marc Anthony Samuel) are growing closer.
Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will clash with Jason, but they’ll find a path to bonding despite their issues with each other. As Britt and Jason keep working to stop Cyrus, Britt will battle a mysterious medical condition. General Hospital has already shown some signs of it, but there’ll be more signs and an explanation down the road.
