General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that we’ve got a sneak preview for Monday, November 22, which features Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) DNA test bombshell and a shocked Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). Chase will deliver a disgusted outburst directed at Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), but it’ll just be part of a charade meant to fool Valentin.
GH fans know Chase just arrived at the hospital after figuring out “Bailey Quartermaine” is actually Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom).
Since Valentin isn’t exactly the most trustworthy person around town, Chase obviously feels the need to step up and keep the lie going.
Chase will have “facts” to support his claims that he’s the father of this baby, but Valentin will have his doubts.
Valentin will seem skeptical as Chase explains he’s not motivated by any kind of chivalry here.
Chase will act like he’s there to confront Brook Lynn for keeping him out of the loop on his child. He’ll claim he had his suspicions and did what any good detective would by investigating.
Brook Lynn won’t quite understand what’s going on, so she’ll stammer that she already told Chase that “Bailey” wasn’t his.
However, Chase will pretend he’s got a DNA test that proves otherwise. He’ll hope that’ll seal the deal on tricking Valentin and throwing the often conniving Cassadine off the trail.
Chase will snarl over what a good friend he’s been to Brook Lynn and rant about this being how she repays him.
Brook Lynn will stand there in shock as Chase acts like he’ll never forgive her for keeping his daughter for him for months.
Of course, viewers know “Bailey” is really Louise, which means she belongs to Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Peter August (Wes Ramsey).
Chase will just be spinning a tale he hopes is believable enough to keep the scheme in play.
There’ll be concerns about whether Valentin can be trusted now that he’s feeling so furious and vengeful.
The gang can’t take chances when it comes to Louise’s safety, so Chase will become part of the lie and make an even bigger mess of things.
