General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Harmony Miller (last played by Inga Candranel) will return – apparently as an inmate at Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) new correctional facility. It looks like Willow Chase’s (Katelyn MacMullen) mom will be back with a shady agenda, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
Alexis was told she was being transferred to Spring Ridge, which many convicts think of as a spa with guards!
It’s a minimum-security facility with a lower population of nonviolent prisoners, so this is a much better place for Alexis than Pentonville.
However, that doesn’t mean there won’t be drama once Alexis gets settled in. Alexis’ story in the slammer will continue no matter what facility she’s being held at.
As part of that story, Alexis will cross paths with Harmony during the week of August 2-6 and quickly grow suspicious.
Harmony will give Alexis a reason to question her motives, so it’ll be interesting to see exactly what Willow’s mom is up to.
Of course, Harmony previously got released from Pentonville early due to overcrowding and Cyrus’ influence. She later ended up taking a job at Turning Woods, but she remained under Cyrus’ control.
Harmony has obviously done something to land herself behind bars again, but at least she’s at pleasant Spring Ridge this time around.
The question is: How does the show plan to connect Harmony and Alexis’ storylines?
There was more to explore in the Neil Byrne (Joe Flanigan) overdose story that was left dangling.
It’s possible that was connected to Cyrus, so Harmony might be able to spill something and help Alexis solve another mystery.
Then again, it’s possible Harmony will somehow fit in the story Alexis already has going with Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore).
This could even be something that affects Willow depending on whatever angle Harmony’s working. If Harmony’s offering up info, she may want something in return.
Since Alexis will be wary, GH fans should be wary, too!
It sounds like Harmony could be scheming somehow since Alexis won’t really trust her. Regardless, Alexis’ storyline is headed in a new direction, so it’ll be fun to see where it ends up.
We should note that there’s no word on whether Inga Cadranel will reprise the role or if there’ll be a recast.
Cadranel announced she was stepping away from GH due to the pandemic and scheduling conflicts last year, but she did seem to have a “never say never” sort of attitude about returning.
