General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Ingo Rademacher is set to exit GH and his final airdate as Jasper “Jax” Jacks has been revealed, so let’s see what happens in Jax’s last episode. Jax will depart the ABC soap on November 22, but how and why will he leave Port Charles behind?
Here’s what we know so far. General Hospital spoilers say Jax will have an unexpected encounter with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) in Ingo Rademacher’s final show.
November sweeps info also promises Jax will reach a crossroads, so that tells us Jax will have to make a decision about his future.
Of course, it’s not like Jax is involved in any major storylines right now. Jax is honestly just kind of there at this point, so he won’t leave any gaping holes when he leaves rather abruptly.
In some ways, Jax’s story has reached a natural conclusion since he doesn’t have much tying him to Port Charles.
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) certainly isn’t pining for Jax and doesn’t want him feeling like he has to ride to her rescue.
Jax was concerned about Carly and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) before Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) returned from the “dead,” but now Sonny’s around to keep the Corinthos clan safe.
Plus, Josslyn is spreading her wings at college, so there’s no need for her dad to hover anymore.
When Jax has this surprise encounter with Carly, perhaps he’ll reveal that he’s headed back to Australia. Jax may trust Carly to watch out for Josslyn while he takes some time for himself back in the land down under.
Regardless, Ingo Rademacher’s exit should be a simple one that quietly whisks Jax off canvas.
We’ll see if Jax gets a proper goodbye with Josslyn or if it happens offscreen. Either way, Jax should bid Carly farewell and could potentially get one of those classic soap sendoffs where he steps on an elevator to depart.
