General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) fake marriage may bring real love! Thanks to the passports Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) passed along, “Joshua James” and “Theresa James” should enjoy a new life together in Canada – at least temporarily.
After Sam accepted it was best not to go with Jason, she handed over the passport Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) had made for her and told Britt it’d do in a pinch. Since Britt’s taller than Sam, she agreed she could slouch.
Jason eventually suggested he could have Spinelli make Britt a new passport. He wanted to get Britt to one of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) safe houses or his private island, but Britt insisted on standing by Jason.
It looks like the plan is for Britt to stick with this passport for now, though Spinelli may be able to send her a better one later.
However, the name will likely stay the same since it’ll be easier for Jason and Britt to pose as a married couple. Jason’s passport had the name “Joshua James” on it and listed his place of birth as Toronto.
Britt’s going to be “Theresa James” and will soon find out whatever place Jason knows that’s across the Canadian border.
Although Jason and Britt may stay on the move, this will hopefully give them a better sense of security and allow them to relax without the cops hot on their trail. Life as a fake married couple could bring some comical situations, but it could also bring a chance for their bond to strengthen.
GH spoilers suggest it may become easy for Britt and Jason to settle into this new life together in Canada, where they’ll get a break from reality in some ways.
Of course, there’s no escaping Britt’s medical condition – and that could bring an urgent doctor’s visit while they’re still fugitives if Jason feels it can’t wait.
Regardless, the idea of Jason and Britt falling for each other during this time as “Joshua” and “Theresa” seems fun! As other GH news emerges, we’ll bring you updates.
