General Hospital (GH) spoilers Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) marriage will be a success, so the new husband and wife will head to their reception. GH fans know there are two main threats facing the wedding right now, so let’s talk about those and why “Jarly” will still manage to tie the knot.
For starters, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is planning a major attack with the help of some mob allies.
During the week of September 13-17, Mr. Buscema (Burt Tangredi) and Vincent Novak (Glenn Taranto) will whisper amongst themselves about the takedown that’s in store.
A deadly plan will be set in motion, but a wedding is more than just the vow portion of the ceremony.
The enemies involved here apparently don’t care when the attack goes down as long as it happens! With that in mind, the reception could just as easily be when the wedding is targeted.
Regardless, there are indeed spoilers for the week of September 20-24 involving Carly and Jason’s wedding reception.
People don’t usually have a reception unless the ceremony has been completed, so all signs point to Jason and Carly officially becoming husband and wife.
Of course, that brings us to the other threat to this wedding, which is the fact that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) survived and seems poised to make a Port Charles comeback soon.
Sonny is on the verge of learning his true identity thanks to Jasper “Jax” Jacks’ (Ingo Rademacher) arrival and the confession that’ll surely follow from Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).
Now that we have these reception spoilers, it tells us that Sonny won’t stop the vows from happening.
Carly will have her blissful moment with Jason – as well as a kiss to seal their marriage and pull them closer.
That could make it even harder for Carly to turn her feelings for Jason off once Sonny’s back in the picture.
Bottom line, General Hospital spoilers point to Jason and Carly successfully marrying at the ceremony before heading off to their reception.
Naturally, that reception could descend into chaos in more ways than one! Between the mob threat and Sonny’s return to PC, there will still be a chance for some great drama following the vows.
