General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) may discover that Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) body is missing. Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) request for corpse disposal help could lead to surprise horror, so let’s talk about how all this might play out.
For starters, we know Jason has offered to pitch in no questions asked. Jason isn’t going to judge Liz if she tells him the whole ugly Peter story, so she’ll remember that when the time comes.
Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) may not trust Jason, but Liz does – especially after the ordeal where Jason was wrongfully accused of killing Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth).
Elizabeth let grief cloud her judgment for a while, but she now sees that she can put her faith in Jake Webber’s (Hudson West) father. Liz and Jason share a connection through their child along with a level of mutual respect.
Jason would never do anything that’d put Liz at risk of prison, particularly since Franco is dead and gone.
Jake needs Liz along with his brothers, so Jason will go to great lengths to help Liz if asked. It looks like Liz may indeed turn to Jason for help soon enough.
The security cameras have been restored at GH, so that presents a problem when it comes to moving Peter’s body.
However, Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) has just admitted that he loves high-stakes situations like this – and we know he’s a pro at looping old security footage to avoid detection.
If Liz comes clean to Jason and asks him to take care of her Peter corpse problem, Jason can ask Spinelli for assistance.
Spinell could use a distraction from his heartache as well as a reminder of why he chose his job over his relationship. The timing couldn’t be better for Spinelli, who could gladly lend a hand here.
Of course, all of this could be building to the discovery of Peter’s missing body.
During the week of July 26-30, Jason will corner Liz and push for answers. There’ll be a confrontation, so it sounds like maybe Peter’s body won’t be where Liz said it’d be!
Finn will also end up confessing to Anna, who could be brought in the loop on this missing corpse soon after. This may leave Jason, Liz, Finn and Anna with a new mystery to ponder.
If Peter’s corpse isn’t in that sub-basement freezer, it likely means Peter is alive and escaped – either on his own or with help.
Peter probably survived against all odds, so this could kick off the next phase of the villain’s story.
General Hospital spoilers say a stunning turn of events will leave Liz feeling disturbed, so the puzzle pieces line up for Peter to still be on the loose. Peter may be in hiding somewhere plotting his revenge!
