General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) are about to go on the run, which presents some exciting new angles for GH to pursue. For starters, this can be the start of a true romance between Britt and Jason.
These two can grow closer as they hide out from the cops and start down a new path toward a future together.
However, we want to focus on another aspect of this General Hospital storyline for a moment. Let’s look beyond the romantic setup and try to figure out how this story might collide with another one.
Since Jason and Britt will be fugitives together, they’d be wise to get out of the state if possible. The police will really be swarming all over Port Charles and its surrounding areas.
Since General Hospital spoilers confirm Jason will be on the run with Britt, that doesn’t sound like a safe house situation where they’ll just stay put in one spot. Perhaps Jason and Britt’s cover will be blown wherever they first get set up – forcing them into this position where they have to flee together.
As a result, Britt and Jason might try to keep moving as they work to evade the authorities. It’d be reasonable for Jason and Britt to seek out a seemingly sleepy little town in Pennsylvania under the circumstances.
What if Jason and Britt ultimately end up in Nixon Falls?
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will manage to get rid of Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) for now, so that’ll be one bullet dodged. Nevertheless, Nina can’t keep the truth about Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) under wraps forever.
Sooner or later, someone has to find out Sonny actually survived.
General Hospital fans know Jason is a close friend of Sonny’s, so he seems like the perfect person to finally spot him. Just imagine Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) gratitude if it’s Jason who reunites her with her presumed dead husband!
Likewise, imagine an epic reunion where tears fill Jason’s big blue eyes as he recognizes Sonny and realizes this is really happening.
Will Jason be the one to find Sonny – perhaps with some sort of assist from Britt? Will Jason speak with “Mike” and realize amnesia is the reason Sonny’s been gone all this time?
