General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) may go crawling back to Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) after Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) returns to Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). Will Jason get rightfully rejected once that happens?
Many GH fans have been totally turned off by Jason and Carly’s marriage, especially since they developed real feelings for each other and moved beyond a marriage of convenience.
The show was building a great pairing with Britt and Jason, but they’ve done serious damage to it now that Jason’s decided he’s all in on a future with Carly.
Of course, Carly often rubbed her relationship with Jason in Britt’s face and made things more difficult for her.
Britt was shut out of the picture abruptly and has every right to be bitter about how it all went down.
Once Sonny comes back and reclaims his status as Carly’s husband, will lonely and heartbroken Jason drift Britt’s way again?
If so, Britt may not just embrace a new beginning with Jason right off the bat. Instead, Britt may tell Jason to get lost and let him pine for a while.
Jason might even find himself pining for both Britt and Carly under the circumstances!
However, there’s obviously still a chance for Jason and Britt to find a way forward down the road. It’s just important to remember that Britt has no obligation to make this easy for Jason.
In fact, it’d probably be a lot more satisfying if Britt made Jason put in the work and truly try to win her back.
Jason often puts the least amount of effort in a romance anyway, so he could stand to work a little harder.
Britt knows her worth and will hopefully make Jason understand that her emotions are not to be toyed with!
If Jason and Britt are going to have a real future together, they have to learn to put each other first.
Jason is used to putting Carly above all others, but people can change.
This could be the start of that since Sonny and Carly will be busy trying to rebuild their own relationship.
Jason needs a life of his own and could find it with Britt – but only if he can make a true commitment.
