General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will do his best to stay strong for Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and the family Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has left behind. However, it’s clear that Jason has a lot on his plate and not a lot of emotional support to get him through this.
Jason has been through some tough times over the last few months. Cyrus Renalt (Jeff Kober) made multiple attempts on Jason’s life, including the motorcycle sabotage and crash that landed him at GH.
Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) also dumped Jason following another attempt on his life – one that could’ve killed “JaSam’s” son, Danny Morgan (Porter Fasullo).
Jason had to help Sonny deal with the loss of Mike Corbin (Max Gail), which was followed by the loss of Dev Cerci aka “Dev Corbin” (Ashton Arbab). Now Sonny’s gone and that means Jason has to run the mob show – all while trying to juggle Carly’s drama and grieve his own sense of loss.
It all adds up to stress and sadness for Jason, so where’s his relief? Jason spends all his time supporting others, but who’s going to support him?
Since Sam is being moved into Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) orbit even more now, the same should start happening for Jason and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).
General Hospital spoilers say Britt will eventually share a secret with Jason, so she may confide the mysterious medical issue she’s dealing with and explain all the hand tremors.
It seems like Britt’s secretly dying, which will give her a reason to live life to the fullest – and that’s becoming a theme for Jason lately, too.
After everything that’s gone down, Jason will have some good reasons to seize the day and heat things up with Britt. That’s especially true if Jason has to watch Dante and Sam head into full-fledged romantic territory.
It’s only fair for Jason to kick off a new romance of his own – and GH writers have set Britt up as the woman for Jason to move on with.
If there was ever a time when Jason needed the comfort of someone’s bed, it’s now! In fact, that could help to move things along between Britt and Jason in the coming weeks.
Jason adores Sam and will find it hard to let go, but the man’s been through enough heartbreak for a lifetime. It’d be great to see Jason get some relief through leaning on Britt and sleeping with her, too.
After all the struggles Jason’s gone through lately, it’s easy to imagine Jason’s first time making love to Britt happening sooner rather than later. As other GH news and updates emerge, we’ll keep you in the loop.
