General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Jordan Ashford’s (Briana Nicole Henry) cryptic phone call could offer a grim clue about Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) future – at least his short-term future. We know Sonny isn’t gone for good and will make a GH comeback eventually, but the residents of Port Charles don’t know that.
On December 7, Jordan will have a heated confrontation with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and make it clear that she’s done taking orders from him. If Cyrus wants to find Florence Grey (Annie Abbott) and take Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) down, he’s on his own!
Jordan will stand up to Cyrus and will honestly seem pretty proud of herself for it. However, some somber news will send Jordan’s mood crashing down.
Someone will get in touch with Jordan over the phone while she checks out Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) missing person case file. It’s surely significant that Jordan will be looking at it while she thanks someone for an update.
It’s reasonable to assume that update will be on Sonny – and unfortunately, it doesn’t sound like it’ll be a positive one. Jordan will be quick to stop the person on the other end from saying anything and will insist on taking care of herself.
She’ll also have an outburst after hanging up – further indicating it was bad news by scattering papers in her office.
Does that mean Jordan will think Sonny’s become a casualty of the mob war? Based on new evidence, Jordan might have a good reason to believe Sonny is dead.
It’s possible another body will turn up near the area where Sonny went missing. Then again, there may be some other sign that leads Jordan to draw the worst possible conclusion.
Regardless, General Hospital spoilers say Jordan will summon Jason to her office in the following episode. That may be partly to talk about Florence’s kidnapping, but Jordan will also want to talk about this Sonny update. Will Jordan admit to Jason that Sonny’s believed to be dead?
Jason might feel like he should be the one to break the horrible news to Carly if that’s the case. Naturally, we should point out that Jordan will receive this grim phone call right after sparring with Cyrus. This might be some desperate strategy of Cyrus’ to distract the Corinthos family or make them pay.
Nevertheless, Jordan will clearly believe things look bleak as far as Sonny’s concerned – and Jason should feel the same once he receives word. Will Jason have to tackle the painful task of taking away Carly’s hope?
Will Jason tell Carly that Sonny is dead and has joined Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) in the great beyond?
