General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that it’ll be go time on Monday, May 3! That’s when Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) escape plot will move forward, so Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will be running the show and working hard to keep it all going smoothly.
Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will be busy mixing and mingling at the Wyndemere family dinner, so that’s one thing to check off Carly’s list.
Carly will also confirm that the security cam feed is showing footage from a couple days ago, so no one will be privy to Jason’s attempt to flee and there’ll be no video proof later.
Brick (Stephen A. Smith) will be all set in a black SUV down in the parking garage. He’ll plan to make a quick getaway once Jason hops in, so the plan will seem perfect. That is until Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) shows up to poke around and ask questions!
Jordan may think it looks like Brick’s preparing to go somewhere in a hurry. She might quiz Brick about whether this involves Jason, so Carly will fret over the whole operation being in jeopardy.
Unfortunately, things will go from bad to worse up on Jason’s floor. A guard will plan to take Jason away, but it doesn’t look like it’ll be the one Carly arranged for.
Jason will realize Cyrus has made arrangements of his own and be forced to improvise.
General Hospital spoilers say there’ll be a shootout at GH, so there’s the potential for this to turn into quite the bloody battle! We also know Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will get involved in all this, so there may be a couple reasons why.
If Jason gets grazed by a bullet, Britt might come along to tend to him once they’re safely in hiding. Another option might be if Britt poses as a hostage and makes it so Jason can get out of there in the first place.
Regardless, Britt is the chief of staff and should be able to lead the way when they’re fleeing. There may be a special exit that’ll make this fast departure from General Hospital easier.
Britt could be useful to Jason on the run due to her medical expertise, but she could also help Jason keep a low profile. By posing as a couple traveling together, it may not draw as much attention in certain cases.
Jason won’t like Britt putting herself at risk like this, but she’ll soon have a target on her back anyway, courtesy of Cyrus. Britt will be much safer with Jason than she would if she stayed behind and let Cyrus do his worst!
