General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) may secretly want a groom swap, so this could build to a situation where he insists Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) should marry him instead. Is this the real reason Jax is so against Carly’s wedding to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton)?
It’s apparently at least part of the problem based on the latest GH spoilers. There’s been plenty of tension between Jax and Carly lately, so they’ll keep sparring in the coming weeks.
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will talk to Jason about her parents’ feud and the toll it’s taking. She’ll really hate to see her parents fighting nonstop, so we’ll see Jax and Carly finally try to cool it.
General Hospital spoilers say Carly and Jax will at least hope to keep things civil, but it’ll be easier said than done. They were once on great terms, but there’s been a major shift to the point where Carly and Jax are barely friends anymore.
Of course, that’s not what either of them wants. In fact, Jax may actually crave more than friendship with Carly!
GH spoilers state that Carly will have a hunch during the week of August 23-27. She’ll suspect that some old feelings are rising to the surface, so her suspicions might eventually be proven right.
Perhaps Jax always thought that he’d be the one to step up and take Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) place if anything ever happened to Sonny.
Now Sonny is presumed dead, but Carly’s moving on with Jason instead of Jax – and in a marriage that’s not legit.
Jason and Carly have plenty of platonic love between them, but Jax may feel like he could offer so much more.
That includes peace and safety if Carly would just build a new life with Jax away from the mob. Since a quickie wedding is rapidly approaching, will Jax make his move?
Jax could decide to pour his heart out before it’s too late and hope that Carly will choose to marry him instead.
Carly may have to let Jax down gently since she’s marrying Jason for safety’s sake, but that may not stop Jax from trying ahead of the nuptials.
