General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that a familiar character’s return may be in the works, but with a new face in the role. GH buzz leaks that the part of Kim Nero (last played by Tamara Braun) is being recast – potentially with a Young and the Restless alum.
That certainly fits with the clues that General Hospital has given fans so far.
Before Julian Jerome (William deVry) met a grim fate, he briefly stopped by Kim’s apartment. Though Kim wasn’t there at the time, GH viewers met her nanny and learned Kim had been pregnant when she left Port Charles.
That led to the birth of Andrew, who’s called “Andy” for short. The nanny was clearly under the impression that Julian was the father, but we highly doubt that. There’s much more drama in this story if Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) is the father instead.
Franco had Drew Cain’s (Billy Miller) memories when he slept with Kim, so it makes sense that Kim would’ve named her baby after Andrew. Now that GH writers have planted the seeds for this storyline, they could grow into some shocking moments down the road.
There are several ways to take this hot plot if Kim becomes determined to win “Drew” back for herself. If Kim finds out Franco’s Drew memories might be returning, it could lead to her becoming unhinged again. We know that Kim can be pretty obsessed when it comes to her precious “Drew” and their past together.
General Hospital spoilers say Franco will get kidnapped in the weeks ahead, so Kim might decide she has no choice. Kim might think it’s the only way to ensure “Drew” will be with her.
Of course, it’s also possible Kim will simply resurface after all the tumor drama winds down – setting up the next story for “Friz” with a kid on their doorstep.
Regardless, it wasn’t some random thing when Julian went to Kim’s apartment. General Hospital writers were clearly laying the groundwork for future Kim developments – and those can’t happen without a replacement.
Tamara Braun is busy playing Ava Vitali on Days of Our Lives, so the role will have to be recast to keep Kim’s story going.
