General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that some loose ends still need to be tied up. Before Julian Jerome (William deVry) died, he wound up at Kim Nero’s (Tamara Braun) apartment and found out she had a baby boy named Andrew aka “Andy.”
After Julian left, the nanny called Kim at work to let her know about the visit – and she assured Kim that Julian had no idea he was the father.
Of course, it was weird to open a new potential story loop like that just before Julian’s death. Who cares if Kim was keeping Julian’s baby from him if he was just going to be killed off? There’s no real drama in that, so it would all be pretty pointless.
It’s possible GH writers were just driving home the point of just how much Julian had screwed up his life and future, but it felt like there was more to the story. That’s especially true since the baby was named after Drew Cain (Billy Miller).
Kim hooked up with Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) when he was memory-mapped into believing he was Drew, so there’s a good chance little Andy belongs to Franco. There was some GH buzz not too long ago about Kim potentially being recast – maybe even with a Young and the Restless alum.
However, nothing was set in stone, so it’s possible that plan was scrapped. General Hospital spoilers say some dark times are ahead for Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth), Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and his younger brothers.
Cam’s world will be turned upside down by a shocker, which could tie in with Franco’s grim ordeal.
General Hospital insiders insist a polarizing character will be killed off, so Franco’s in the running – especially considering his tumor situation and Drew’s returning memories. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and others certainly pose serious threats to Franco’s safety right now.
If Franco is written out, it’s tough to imagine GH writers going down this road of Kim and the baby she might be hiding from Franco. Even if Franco sticks around, there’s just no room for Kim and a kid in his storyline anytime soon.
