General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Wes Ramsey is one ABC soap star who’s been stirring up some big reactions among fans and costars alike. Peter August (Wes Ramsey) has been front and center on the show lately, so that’s brought major buzz about his portrayer, too.
Tristan Rogers (Robert Scorpio) recently made waves by suggesting that Ramsey was miscast as Peter and was perhaps too much of a gentleman to play such a villainous role.
Although Rogers mostly blamed the writers for the story and had nice things to say about Ramsey, his comments about the wrong casting choice caused some social media drama.
Ramsey posted a lengthy statement in defense of himself and his abilities, so that certainly had fans talking for a while. Laura Wright (Carly Corinthos) is Ramsey’s real-life partner and has used her own social media accounts to praise him on more than one occasion.
Now Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones) has become the last General Hospital star to weigh in on the Peter saga. It happened through some recent stories Storms posted on Instagram, so let’s look at what the General Hospital star had to say.
Storms called Ramsey “the most professional, considerate, kindest actor” that she’s ever been paired with on GH – and assured fans that she truly meant it.
When it comes to Ramsey’s talent, Storms had plenty of praise for him in that department. She wanted to give Ramsey “props for his performances, especially lately” and insisted he was a joy to work with on set.
Storms went on to talk about how different Ramsey was compared to his character, which she saw as the “sign of a great actor.”
Of course, we have to acknowledge that some fans have been criticizing Ramsey’s work as a bit too theatrical for television, so this may have been Storms’ way of counteracting that criticism with compliments.
Regardless, Storms was all about kindness and lifting Ramsey up in these supportive Instagram stories. There’s no denying that Storms thinks highly of Ramsey as a costar and someone she admires as an actor, so it’s nice to see her thoughts on all the Peter portrayer talk.
