General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Kristen Storms returned to work and revealed Maxie Jones is back at GH in a new Instagram story. This is certainly exciting news for fans since there were concerns about just how long Storms would need to recover.
Storms had brain surgery in June, so it’s clear that she’s done quite well and bounced back quickly.
Maxie supporters will certainly be glad to see her in the action again – and it’s happening in the nick of time since the Peter August (Wes Ramsey) drama’s heating up.
Peter’s corpse went missing from the sub-basement freezer, so it’s pretty much a done deal that he’s alive and has made himself disappear.
Of course, that means Peter will resurface at some point. That could put both Maxie and Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) at risk, but they aren’t the only ones who’ll have to watch out for this sinister villain.
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) has been hiding Maxie’s baby in plain sight as “Bailey Quartermaine,” so she could become a revenge target.
The same goes for Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) who pushed Peter down the stairs as well as Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) who helped cover for him.
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will also take on some risks as they remain part of this story, but Maxie and Louise are obviously the ones in the most danger.
Once Maxie’s on canvas again, she’ll inevitably have an unsettling reunion with Peter. It’s just a matter of when and where it’ll happen!
Regardless, it’s great to see that Kirsten Storms has recovered enough to return to work and get back to doing what she loves.
Maxie is gearing up for some gripping drama, so Storms will no doubt have some fantastic material to play with.
Now that Kirsten Storms is on set again, she can keep delivering thrilling scenes and get involved in some fun story twists that are on the way.
