General Hospital Spoilers: Liz Becomes Maxie’s Nurse, Helps Rob Peter of Newborn Daughter – Revenge for Killing Franco?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) may find a surprising way to get revenge on Peter August (Wes Ramsey). GH fans know Peter killed Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth), so he robbed Liz and her boys of precious time with him.

Franco was still fighting his brain tumor and hoping to beat the odds, but Peter pumped a deadly bullet and ended it all.

However, Liz is on the verge of connecting the dots and realizing it was Peter who killed her husband. It looks like Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will come clean about the updates Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) offered soon enough.

What will Liz do once she confirms Peter was the man behind Franco’s murder?

Perhaps Elizabeth will have a unique opportunity to get even and save another life in the process. Other General Hospital spoilers have been hinting that Liz would step up for someone in danger.

There’s been some preview info about Liz taking comfort in saving another character since she couldn’t save Franco.

Liz mostly just stood around looking suspicious during Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) crisis, so she wasn’t really helpful in terms of saving him.

It appears Elizabeth may step up to help someone else this May. What if it’s Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) unborn daughter, Baby Lou?

There has to be a reason why Peter brought up the idea of hiring a 24-7 nurse for Maxie. Peter wants someone he trusts, but Maxie wanted to look at some candidates and make the decision.

When Peter called Maxie later, she said she was already on it. Maxie looked at Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) as she suggested she thought she’d found someone to help her.

However, Brook Lynn isn’t a nurse and has to pretend to be pregnant. She’s certainly in no position to help Maxie beyond the fake death plot for Baby Lou that they’re keeping under wraps.

There’s seemingly no way Peter would allow a heavily “pregnant” woman without medical expertise to care for Maxie.

Peter’s going to want a real nurse, so Liz might be a good fit here. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) pushed Elizabeth to take an immediate leave of absence, but Liz talked her out of it.

Could Liz change her mind, especially after the dangerous shootout that’s coming up at General Hospital?

It might be best to take that leave of absence after all – at least until all the Jason and Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) chaos winds down. Liz can’t risk dying and leave her boys without a parent, so she might be better off taking that GH break.

After Liz learns the truth about Peter, she might also hear the news that Maxie needs a nurse. Maybe this could lead to Elizabeth joining the fake death plot and helping Maxie save Baby Lou. It’d be fitting for Elizabeth to help rob Peter of his daughter since he robbed Liz of her husband.

It’s easy to see how the puzzle pieces could come together here. Peter might even like having the widow of the man he killed as Maxie’s nurse. He’s smug and seems to enjoy feeling like he’s pulled one over on everybody.

Elizabeth is an excellent nurse, so Peter can’t really complain about that part.

Perhaps Liz will end up having to deliver the baby depending on the circumstances of the birth. If it’s something that happens at Maxie’s apartment rather than GH, it would definitely keep Peter out of the delivery room!

Whatever the case, Peter will get duped before long, so stay tuned to see if Liz joins Maxie and Brook Lynn’s scheme. CDL will have tons of other great General Hospital spoilers, updates and news to read up on, so stick with us.
