General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) pregnancy scam will get even more complicated. GH viewers know Brook Lynn’s got a fake bun in the oven, but she’s hoping she can lock in control of ELQ before this pretend baby’s birth.
Brook Lynn obviously wants to trick Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) before she actually has to produce a newborn.
However, Brook Lynn’s plan will hit a snag since Valentin will want to delay things a bit. General Hospital spoilers say Valentin will offer to hand over the ELQ shares, but he’ll want to wait until after their child is born.
Valentin may argue that Brook Lynn shouldn’t be stressing over business matters in her condition – or perhaps he’ll want to make sure they iron out a custody agreement before they do anything else.
It could even be a combination of both, but the point is Valentin won’t want to make this deal until after the baby arrives.
This is obviously a huge problem for Brook Lynn since there’s no baby at all! Brook Lynn will feel backed into a desperate corner, but a solution will suddenly present itself.
One way or another, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will catch on when it comes to Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) plan. Olivia will somehow tip Brook Lynn off to the fact that Maxie wants to fake her baby’s death.
Brook Lynn will think this is perfect considering she needs a baby and could just temporarily take Maxie’s daughter off her hands. As a result, General Hospital spoilers say Brook Lynn will go to Maxie and make a pitch for why they should join forces.
Brook Lynn may argue that even if Peter August (Wes Ramsey) figures out his child is alive, he’ll be looking far away from Port Charles if that happens. Brook Lynn might suggest that even Peter wouldn’t be smart enough to realize BLQ is pretending to raise Maxie’s baby as her own.
Of course, Brook Lynn may feel confident Peter will be none the wiser anyway. She’ll think Maxie can convince Peter of her grief and leave Brook Lynn in charge of her newborn daughter in the meantime.
Brook Lynn will promise to take good care of Baby Lou – and she may point out it won’t raise red flags if Maxie spends a little time with BLQ’s new bundle of joy.
Maxie won’t have to miss out on these first few months with her baby completely – and she would if she sent Lou out of town like she previously intended.
Brook Lynn will make a convincing argument, so General Hospital spoilers say Maxie will officially make this baby bargain. GH fans can expect Maxie and Brook Lynn to reach an agreement, so they’ll have to start locking in all the details of what’ll happen immediately after the birth.
Things could get tricky since Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is about to go on the run with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and may not be back in time to help with Maxie’s plan.
Nevertheless, Brook Lynn and Maxie will remain determined to pull this off since Baby Lou’s safety depends on it. They have to keep this kid away from dangerous Peter and his manipulative tactics.
