General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will come home to “Bailey Quartermaine” (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) heartbreak, so let’s talk about when Kirsten Storms will return and what it means for Maxie’s daughter, Louise August.
Maxie understandably misses her baby, so she was having a hard time resisting the temptation of seeing her. That led to Maxie creating some distance and visiting family in Texas.
Of course, that was necessary due to Kirsten Storms’ recovery from brain surgery, but it won’t be long until Maxie’s back on screen.
Maxie will return during the week of August 23-27, so that’s great news since it means the Peter August (Wes Ramsey) storyline can heat up.
It looks like Maxie’s first airdate back may be August 25 since that’s the first day she’s listed in GH spoilers again.
We’ll see Maxie have a heartbreaking encounter with “Bailey” and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), so their fake father-daughter bond will be on full display.
It’ll leave Maxie feeling guilty about Valentin’s inevitable devastation – and she’ll long for her own true parental bond with Louise as well.
Maxie worried Peter could go after Louise, so she cooked up this plot with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) to keep her baby safe.
However, this was never meant to be a long-term solution. How long can Maxie realistically stand by and let Brook Lynn be a mother to Louise in her place?
Maxie has been missing so many special moments and milestones that she’ll never get back.
It makes no sense for Maxie to just let Brook Lynn raise her baby because Peter might possibly pose a threat. That’s not a good enough reason to hand over your child to someone for this length of time.
Maxie and Brook Lynn should’ve just sought Valentin’s help from the get-go.
Valentin gladly would’ve hired a whole posse of Yuri-like guards to surround Maxie at all times. Why not give Maxie 24-7 protection until Peter’s caught and let her be a real mother to her own little girl?
Maxie was already struggling before she left, but she’ll have an even harder time once she comes back to PC. At some point, Maxie may decide she just can’t take it anymore!
Maxie could insist on reclaiming her child and get into an argument with Brook Lynn, who’s becoming attached to “Bailey” and wants to put off Valentin’s crushing blow.
Brook Lynn knows the day will come when she’ll have to make a full confession, but she may hope to delay that day as long as possible.
Maxie, on the other hand, might determine that enough is enough. She can’t just let Brook Lynn raise her daughter indefinitely, so we’ll see how long Maxie can hold out before she reclaims Louise.
