General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will have someone special on her mind during the week of February 1-5. GH fans know Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) recently mentioned Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) during a heart-to-heart with Maxie.
Dante confessed that when it came to seeing Maxie with another man besides Nathan, it’d take some getting used to.
That’s particularly true since Peter August (Wes Ramsey) is Nathan’s half-brother. Of course, we also know Peter has a much darker side than Maxie’s willing to acknowledge, but she’s hopeful that Dante and everyone else can accept Peter.
That may be part of what leads Maxie to Nathan’s grave for a visit.
General Hospital spoilers say Maxie will head to the cemetery for a chat with her deceased husband, so we’ll hear some words straight from Maxie’s heart.
Maxie may find herself wondering how Nathan would feel about her impending marriage to Peter as well as the baby they’re expecting.
This graveside visit may be about seeking Nathan’s blessing in a way. Will Maxie get some sign that maybe she’s headed in the wrong direction?
Nathan certainly wouldn’t approve of Maxie marrying a menace like Peter. He’d be first in line to defend Maxie from this deceitful creep and protect Baby Lou from harm.
Unfortunately, Maxie has been completely snowed by Peter at this point. Maxie trusts Peter completely and feels like everyone else needs to give him the same chance she’s given him.
It’ll be interesting to see what this Nathan grave visit means for Maxie and her storyline.
Will there be some sudden gut feeling that maybe this engagement is wrong? It’s possible, but it’s also possible Maxie won’t get any warning signs from the great beyond. Maxie might even delude herself into thinking that Nathan would be on board with a “great” guy like Peter taking his place.
