General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will continue to have weepy moments over Lulu Spencer’s (Emme Rylan) difficult situation. It’s devastating for Maxie to think about all the stuff her bestie’s missing out on! Lulu is comatose and no one knows for sure how long she’ll be stuck in limbo like this.
During the week of January 18-22, General Hospital spoilers say Maxie and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will share some emotional scenes together. Naturally, Dante and Maxie will probably discuss all the losses that have been happening in Port Charles.
Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson) and Dev Cerci aka “Dev Corbin” (Ashton Arbab) were left dead following The Floating Rib explosion. Lulu’s injuries led to her coma and an extended stay in a long-term care facility.
Julian Jerome (William deVry) died next, which is upsetting for Dante’s brother, Leo Falconeri (Aaron Bradshaw) – and now Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is presumed dead, too.
It’s just been one loss after another in PC, but Lulu’s absence is obviously the one Maxie feels the most right now. She’ll know Dante’s feeling that same ache of loss, but both Maxie and Dante will cling to hope for the future. Lulu will inevitably wake up someday, even if things look bleak right now.
Even so, Dante will have to move on with his life in the meantime – and that could become a problem for Maxie. What happens as Dante and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) continue to bond? A real Sam and Dante pairing seems likely to take shape.
If Dante and Sam start inching toward a romance as expected, Maxie could view this as a betrayal in a way. Maybe Maxie will work to keep Lulu’s man waiting for her once she awakens!
It’s easy to imagine meddling Maxie taking steps to come between Sam and Dante. That could mean giving Dante unsolicited advice or even standing up to Sam and warning her to back off.
Maxie is awfully protective of Lulu and may feel like she should guard her friend’s territory in her absence. Could Dante’s interest in Sam lead to drama?
