General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) may pose as the father of Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) baby and protect Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) with a daddy lie. GH fans know Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) pushed Sasha in the direction of deception.
Carly feels like Brando’s life could be in danger if Sasha reveals the truth and it inevitably gets back to Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).
With that in mind, Carly thinks the best thing Sasha can do is come up with a cover story and claim someone else is the “baby daddy.” The question is: Who will Sasha select as the fake father of her unborn child?
Carly obviously didn’t mean for Sasha to pick Michael since she wouldn’t want her own son mixed up in all this. However, that may be where the writers end up going with the storyline – and it’d serve Carly right for pushing Sasha to weave such a tangled web again!
There aren’t very many people on canvas who’d really work here. Sasha has to make the faux father someone believable – and Michael would be the most believable person to Cyrus. Anyone else might raise red flags and seem like an effort to hide the truth.
Michael and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) are keeping their plans for a future together under wraps, so Willow’s still trying to make it work with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) as far as anyone knows. It makes sense that GH may throw in Sasha’s baby drama as an added complication.
While Willow’s pretending to be devoted to Chase, Michael may have to pretend he’s Sasha’s “baby daddy.” Of course, this may not be what Sasha actually wants or plans on. There’s the potential for Sasha to lose control of her secret and have to improvise.
General Hospital spoilers say Chase will reach the wrong conclusion during the week of May 24-28. Will Chase find out Sasha is pregnant and assume Michael is the father? Could that lead to Sasha just rolling with it?
Since Sasha sacrificed to make sure Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson) was safe from Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier), maybe this is Michael’s chance to do a favor in return.
Michael might pose as the father of Sasha’s baby since it’d take the heat off Brando, who’d be in far more trouble with Cyrus if the real story came out.
Naturally, Carly wouldn’t like this outcome one bit, but it’d be her own fault for suggesting Sasha lie in the first place! As other news and updates emerge, we’ll keep you posted.
