General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, April 26, tease that Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will have a lot on her mind when Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) pays her a visit. Olivia will allude to something that leaves Dante puzzled. “Why would that be a problem?” Dante asks in Monday’s GH preview video.
Of course, this may have something to do with what Olivia overheard at the cemetery. Olivia got choked up over Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) plan to fake her baby’s death, so she may drop a hint about the plan to Dante. That could give Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) the opportunity to overhear and form a plan of her own.
One way or another, Brook Lynn will indeed get updates on the fake baby death plot through Olivia. BLQ can be seen frantically begging for help on the phone in Monday’s preview clip. That could involve a voicemail to Maxie or someone else if this happens before Olivia’s news spreads.
Regardless, it looks like Brook Lynn will just have to find Maxie and make her pitch in person soon. Brook Lynn’s goal will be to offer up a temporary home for Maxie’s baby and lock in the ELQ shares Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) has promised after the birth.
In the meantime, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will stop by Maxie’s place and ask if she’d be willing to meet with Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Maxie may wonder why she’d do that since they’ve agreed Peter is dangerous and must be avoided if possible.
However, General Hospital spoilers say Anna will make a confession in Monday’s GH episode. Although Anna can’t share too much, she can at least acknowledge that Peter has leverage that could mean the difference between life and death for someone.
Once Maxie knows what’s at stake, she should agree to this meeting and hope for the best. As for Peter’s delivery room demand, that’s something Maxie may not be able to budge on due to her fake baby death plan.
At GH, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will admit to Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) that he’s starting to get scared. Without answers about the source of his symptoms, there’s no way for Chase to get the proper treatment.
Chase will worry he might not recover, so he’ll need Willow’s support more than ever. It’ll give Chase hope to look forward to a future with Willow, so she’ll stay tight-lipped about actually wanting a future with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).
However, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) at least knows Chase was poisoned. That’s a start, but formulating an antidote based on the crushed vial shards will be tough – that is if the real antidote was even in the vial!
Finn will be hard at work in Monday’s show, but he’ll take a moment to talk to Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) about her own troubles. “Are you still convinced?” Finn asks Liz in the preview video. He may wonder who Elizabeth really believes killed Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) at this point.
Finn might argue that there are some good reasons to believe Peter is the man who robbed Liz of her husband. In Nixon Falls, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will await word on Jasper “Jax” Jacks’ (Ingo Rademacher) condition in the hospital. Jax took a bullet to the shoulder, but Nina will soon learn he’s going to be OK.
Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) will point out that Nina could have Jax back if she wanted, but Nina won’t seem so sure he’ll want her back anymore. That’s undoubtedly due to Jax’s moment of recognition at the end of Friday’s GH episode.
Jax spotted Sonny and seemed stunned as he pointed, but he was pretty out of it due to his gunshot wound. Once Jax awakens in the hospital and is on the mend, Nina will tackle this crisis.
Jax will admit he thought he saw Sonny, but Nina will play it like Sonny’s probably just been on Jax’s mind. She’ll act like Jax imagined Sonny in that woozy state because of his conversations with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright).
Jax will accept that Nina must be right, so she’ll breathe a sigh of relief for now. Meanwhile, “Mike” will face off with Elijah Crowe (Dan White). Sonny will insist that if the cops come around again, he won’t forget to tell them something.
Perhaps Sonny will suspect Elijah is the reason those two gunmen showed up looking for trouble at the dance.
Whatever the case, Sonny will eventually join Phyllis and Nina at the hospital. He’ll want to meet the man from Nina’s past and see how he’s holding up following his injury. General Hospital spoilers say Nina will have to think fast if she wants to avoid another Sonny sighting, so stay tuned!
CDL will have all the scorching General Hospital spoilers, updates and news you need, so pop back in soon.
