General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, August 16, tease that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is in danger and will alert Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) through an alarming phone call. Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will also begin a disturbing night of surprises, so here’s what GH fans can expect.
As Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) grows closer to Sam by the Metro Court pool, he’ll wonder if this is a date.
Sam may admit she’s open to the idea as they continue to flirt and have fun, but this evening’s about to take a shocking turn.
After Dante steps away, Sam will answer a phone call from an unknown number. She’ll reel when she hears Drew Cain’s voice on the other end of the line.
Drew is in serious trouble and needs Sam’s help, so he’ll reach out and hope his desperate move pays off.
While Sam tries to wrap her head around Drew being alive, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will see how Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) is holding up.
Liz has been grieving the loss of Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) – and now she’s worried about Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) losing her grandmother.
The news of Naomi Dreyfus’ (Gigi Bermingham) death certainly caught Liz off guard, so that may be what she’s referring to when she tells Laura she doesn’t even know how to process this.
Of course, Liz is also trying to process the fact that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton) are dating now, so Laura should understand if Liz is feeling overwhelmed!
Speaking of Josslyn and Cameron, they’ll share a romantic moment on the turret at Wyndemere. Cam and Joss will keep falling hard for each other, but this night won’t turn out to be what anyone expected.
Next, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will remain confident that his party’s going to be a huge success. He’ll talk to Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) about how he might still have a few surprises up his sleeve, but he’s set to get two surprises of his own.
The first shocker will involve a phone call that’s supposedly from Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom).
The second one will come in the form of a hooded party crasher, so Nikolas’ sneaky plan should be in full swing.
Nikolas wants to make Spencer understand the gravity of his actions and help him turn from his wicked ways.
While Nikolas attempts to corner his son, Ava Jerome (Maura West) will pay Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) a visit for professional advice.
Ava may confide that Nikolas is about to blow up his newly repaired bond with Spencer, but Kevin may not think a lesson is such a bad idea.
Finally, Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) will demand firm answers from Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). He’ll push Carly to tell him what she’s doing to protect their daughter, so Jax will obviously be looking for specifics he can rely on.
Jax is extremely concerned about the possibility that Josslyn will get hurt – and his faceoff with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) did nothing to ease his mind.
Unfortunately, Carly won’t be able to appease Jax either, so this conflict won’t be resolved anytime soon.
