General Hospital spoilers tease that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) have such a good time in their two-person support group, called “Single Parents Anonymous”, that Dante asks Sam if it’s really a date in this week’s General Hospital sneak peek!
A Two Person Support Group – S.P.A.
General Hospital viewers will remember that as Sam and Dante were talking about their children and swapping single parent stories, Dante halfway kiddingly suggested that they form their own support group – S.P.A., Single Parents Anonymous!
Sam immediately picked up on the initials spelling “spa” and she was up for a spa day any time! They talked a little bit more, and as General Hospital viewers know, they have been becoming good friends and have a good time talking with each other and being with each other.
With Sam being a private investigator and Dante being a Port Charles Police Department detective, they have much more in common than each being a single parent.
A Meeting On The Rooftop By The Metro Court Pool
General Hospital viewers will recall that the new pool and bar recently opened on the rooftop of the Metro Court has been a hit, both with teenagers and adults.
Sam and Dante have found a table with some relative privacy as they meet up. However, Sam brings up a case they have both been working on and Dante doesn’t think their little support group is the place for work talk. She had asked him if he wanted to go over the Naomi Dreyfus (Gigi Bermingham) murder case.
General Hospital viewers will recall that Sam, along with Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) had discovered Naomi’s body in her Metro Court suite, and Sam had called Dante to come investigate.
Dante thinks work talk is against the “rules” of their “support group” which was meant to have a time to unwind and relax, when she questions what rules he is referring to.
Swapping Single Parent and Surveillance Stories Is Fun
Sam and Dante talk about the single parent stories and a few surveillance stories they’ve swapped recently. Sam tells Dante he’s right, it’s been fun being able to unwind and all of that but they have talked more about their kids than anything else.
General Hospital viewers would not find that so unusual, considering she has two kids and he has one. Dante verifies that talking about their kids kind of goes along with the territory of having a “single parents anonymous” group.
Sam laughs and agrees with him, and then brings up his story about the rock climbing thing in the park. Dante says that led to Sam telling him about scaling a wall as she was chasing down a deadbeat dad, but that he had liked that story!
Sam comes back with talking about all of Dante’s boring bad guy chasing stories. General Hospital viewers know that a private investigator and a detective are bound to tell surveillance stories!
Is This A Sam & Dante Date?
Sam and Dante continue throwing good natured barbs at each other, with Dante telling Sam to speak for herself concerning his stories being boring!
Dante tells her he thinks his stories are rather fascinating, with Sam coming back with saying they are breathtaking! Dante admits he thinks so! General Hospital viewers have noticed that the two have not only a good rapport, but have fun when they are together – other than at a crime scene, of course.
Sam talks about her stories about what was her kid thinking, and Dante smiles and calls it a good time. Sam notes his focus on her and his smile and asks “what?”
Dante continues with his focused smile and look at her and asks her if this is a date! Sam thinks about it with an intense look on her face but doesn’t answer him right away. General Hospital viewers will have to wait until Monday’s GH episode, August 16, to see her answer!
