General Hospital Spoilers: Monday, December 20 Update – Victor Danger Lurks – Michael’s Vow – Cyrus’ Near-Death Experience

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, December 20, teases that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will reveal some changes following a near-death experience while Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) has an offer for Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez). Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will also make a vow for his family’s sake, so let’s talk about what’s brewing on the ABC soap.

Laura Collins (Genie Francis) is headed back to Port Charles, but she’ll make a quick stop at Cyrus’ prison in the Midwest first. The point of this visit will be to accuse Cyrus of the deadly attack at the safehouse, but he’ll assure Laura that he had nothing to do with it.

In fact, Cyrus will have a new outlook entirely – one that’s all about peace, love and harmony. Cyrus will promise Laura that he didn’t try to kill her or Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight).

Cyrus will explain that he had a near-death experience and found God as a result, so any evildoing happening beyond those prison walls isn’t occurring on his orders.

Laura will give Cyrus a hard eye roll and will struggle to buy that he’s some saint now. She’ll feel like Cyrus might be messing with her, but Cyrus will eventually convince Laura for the most part.

Laura will walk away knowing there’s likely another lethal threat out there – and that threat just might be Victor!

While Laura’s visiting Cyrus, Victor will pop in Kelly’s and hang out with Spencer on his break.

Spencer seems to think Victor is a swell guy for some reason, but you can bet Laura will set him straight on that once she gets back to town.

Until then, Victor will think he might be able to help Spencer.

There’s a chance Victor will come up with a less menial job for Spencer to do – or maybe Victor will think he can drive Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) apart.

At Charlie’s Pub, Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) will get updates on everything Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is dealing with.

Nina will be upset over Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) loss, so she’ll confide in Phyllis and perhaps share that it’s been hard on Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), too.

Based on the way Nina speaks about Sonny, Phyllis will have a hunch that she’s still in love with him. She’ll push Nina to admit it – and it’s easy to see it’s true whether Nina comes clean or not!

As for Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), she’ll have a tense confrontation with Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) that most likely centers around Nina.

Carly will gripe about Obrecht going out of her way to make trouble, but Liesl won’t stand by and let Nina get pushed around.

It turns out Obrecht will even spill Nina’s forbidden love story to Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner).

Liesl will realize Scott’s worried about the pre-trial drama, so she’ll arm him with some useful information. Scott will indeed think the secret of Nina and Sonny’s romance can be used to his client’s advantage.

Other GH spoilers say Michael will seem agitated as he makes a bold declaration. He’ll plan to protect his family no matter what the cost is and won’t be shy about telling Sonny.

Michael will be fed up with all the Nina and Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) chaos, so he’ll make it clear that he’s taking a stand.

Once the news of Liam Corbin’s death hits, Carly will let Michael know she’s there for him.

Carly will get that it could remind Michael of when he lost Jonah Corinthos, but Jonah was thankfully revealed as Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos in time.

Michael may worry about Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), but she’ll have Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) to lean on in Monday’s episode. Sasha and Brando’s ordeal will bring back a flood of painful memories for Willow.

Willow will recall how Chase consoled her after she realized her biological baby was dead and may offer her gratitude once again.

Chase will get that things have been awkward because of the paternity mess, but he’ll always be there for Willow if she needs to talk.

Willow should appreciate her continued friendship with Chase and may promise to try a little harder when it comes to getting along with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).

Brook Lynn will brace for bad news at the Quartermaine mansion, so she might receive word that Liam is gone.

Like Brando, Brook Lynn may feel certain that Mike Corbin (Max Gail) is going to watch over Liam – and GH fans know Mike’s indeed doing that since he just took Liam up to heaven.

General Hospital spoilers say Brando and Sasha will struggle with their grief in the coming episodes, so stay tuned to see how they cope.

CDL will have lots of other General Hospital spoilers, updates and news to read up on, so stick with us.
